These are very soft down pillows, they are my new main pillows.

Going to give it a few more days to get used to the pillows and see if anything changes.

After reading every review listed about this pillow.I decided that It would be the right one to purchase.But I don't just read the positive reviews.After weeks of reading more than 1000 reviews ofother pillows on Amazon's pillow site. I will take a few sentencesto explain why I chose this one.I started by reading every single critical review of every"down/feather" pillow . And there are dozens ofpillows listed.Like probably many others I have purchased quite a fewpillows from major retail stores and street fairsand discount stores. Rarely paying more than $25. for anyone pillow. And usually after a period of time, realizing,I get what I pay for. Not much.So this pillow was a step up , price wise.And so far, I'm very optimistic.I followed the Mfg. instructions to the letter.Airing it out for 2 days on a sunny windowsill.It fluffed up just as the pix and their description show.ALL my previous feather/ down pillows disappointed meSometimes, within minutes of put a pillow case and resting my head on them.THESE pillows are very different from any purchase I've made before them.If you air them out, the down smell ( which is barely noticeable), disappears.NO sound of crunchy feathers. No bulking together in spots.They have the perfect balance of soft and firm across the entire width of the pillow.Which the makers go into a detailed explanation of why, in their description.To sum up my conclusions.These are the best pillows "I" have ever purchased.In simple terms.You get what you pay for.You will NOT be disappointed.5 star review. I am very upset about this pillow!I really do not know where or how to even start!i ordered this pillow because on About this item is said quote: ( High quality pillows inner filling is 30% Down & 70% Feather, which is unmatched by other down alternative pillows)but when i received this pillow it actually say on the pillow quote: ( Fill:90% White Goose Feather 10% white goose Down) i was confused then i put it up next to my sones pillow i bought from sears 10 years ago and his pillow is 75% Goose Down & 15% duck and my sons pillow was much softer fluffier and also just all around felt much better so im not saying they are wrong maybe its something i do not understand how they decided to word there text but i will be sending this back and will suck it up and buy 100% goose down

Admittedly, I did get a discount on this item in hopes that I would review it. I gave this pair of pillows to my husband as a gift. He needed new pillows and loves a good down pillow. If you like down, you know how expensive they can be and that the quality can waver. We’ve had these for a few months so far and they seem to be holding up pretty well. There have been a few pin feathers that have worked their way through over time. This is a common occurrence in the more economy style of feather pillow. They fluff nicely and have a decent loft. They’ve kept their softness and the cover is gusseted and pretty durable. I would suggest that if you purchase, but an allergen blocker case to protect from those pokey pin feathers, but if you’re looking for an inexpensive down pillow, this one is pretty decent.

Comfort & softness

Not at all proper fragrance-wise.

I cannot give enough praise for these pillows... the quality of the stitching, the gusseted hem, the percentage of down, and the soft selection of feathers are all something you'd expect in a pillow three times as expensive as this. I can't believe how affordable these were, and I'm already looking forward to buying more of them.I've always had difficulty falling asleep, partially because I'm a hot sleeper, and I've wasted so much money on "cooling" pillows that have shredded memory foam, cooling gel, down alternatives, etc. that were all stiff, unbreathable, and hot. I finally realized I had to stop buying cheap pillows, and get a genuine feather pillow instead (and saved so much more money in the end). But there are so many fake/scam feather pillows out there -- with 30% feathers or less, 1-3% down, made up mostly of synthetic filler material that will only absorb heat -- so picking the right one was a challenge.I'm so glad I went with this pair of queen-sized genuine feather pillows by Taslon. This last week has been the most comfortable my head has felt in 10 years.Mind you, feather pillows aren't for everyone. They're made up of light natural feathers, so if you need something firm with a lot of neck or head support, these won't help. But if you want something soft and soothing that you can sink your head into, these are perfect!
