I got a fish.... much to the disappointment of everyone I have met I named it Voldebo but this time I would not let the boy die. This time I splurged at the Petco and got the handsome fella a contraption to keep his handsome tropical fish feathers flipping around the fish tank. Chicago is cold and I didn't want my new small child to turn into a frozen fish filet but oh dear oh my god his tank was so far from a pluggy for his IMPORTANT source of heat and his poor little fishy tushy coulda turned into a big ol crackly ice crust if it weren't for this 12-foot extension cord with 3 outlets 2 prongs 16 gauge twist-to-close safety outlet covers. Jesus christ it's perfect in length and size and saved this little boy's life,,, now he sits upon the shelf like a gosh darn king and we can all worhsip his glory... at least me. I love him. I am glad he is alive. Thank you extention cord. You have made me happier than I ever thought possible.

I can’t even use this, it has a deep gouge in the plastic shielding down to the copper and looks burnt right out of the box! I tried to initiate a return and got told this product is not eligible.

My life was so dark and uncharged every night before I received my GE 12’ extension cord from Amazon. Gone are the days of my dead cell phone battery and stumbling my way through my unlit bedroom. Now I can turn on my lamp and charge my cell phone at night. I feel so much safer knowing I will not stub my in the dark sending me on a midnight run to Urgent Care since I couldn’t call an ambulance from my phone battery being dead. Thank you Amazon for the fast deliver that helped to light up my life and give me energy to get through the night. My life will never be the same.

I thought the problem was my iPhone cord but it was this extension cord. I’ve only owned it for 2 weeks and already none of the three plugs work. Waste of money.

Only been using this for a month and Cord gets realllly hot. Actually looks like it’s starting the burn from the inside. I use for my iPhone charger and a heater/fan. Expected way more from a GE product.

Exactly we described. It’s the thinner type of cord-definitely not like an outdoor extension cord but the kind you use inside for lamps or TV set ups. I had to use one to change an older style two prong outlet and stretch a little longer than my lamp cord could. This did the perfect job of both. It comes with three plug ins-two on one side and one on the other. My only annoyance is the plug on has to be twisted in order to plug it in. I assume this is a safety precaution-so a good thing if you have younger children! Not a big annoyance for me but you do have to mess with it for a few seconds to plug it in.

I live in a 100 yo house, and even though the electrical wiring has been updated, the location and count of the outlets hasn't been modified. That means the nearest outlet is almost always in the wrong place for modern day electrical use. This cord solves the problem for at least one troublesome area. The tamper shields work as intended, the cord and plug are well made, and the different lengths listed made ordering just the right one easy-peasy.

I only have one plug in my entire bedroom that runs off of the wall switch, so I needed an extension cord to allow for all 3 of my nightstand lamps and floor lamp to all come on when I flip the switch. This does exactly what I needed it to do.Safe, effective, looks nice compared to the old brown ones I've had.

If you're looking for a basic extention cord, this is probably still the best quality and least expensive option on Amazon. Plus it comes with nobs to protect the plugs.

I chose the 12 foot length, but I got a ten foot length, and I note this review quotes a 6 foot length, which is not what I purchased. Amazon and the seller should get the lengths straight as accuracy is important.The cord itself is great. It is difficult to see (which I wanted) and despite having more than one plug on the end, is compact.

We bought these to install our wifi switches on about a year. They worked so well we bought more, and then a third order when my daughter moved into her new place and we bought her a google home for the holidays.We prefer to install on extension cords and leave original cords intact so we can move them around or change the functions.Perfection.

long extension(not like ikea ones) and affordable and it works very well! I also like the lock feature so kids cannot just play with the outlet(plug in and out). safety comes first! :D
