Fantastic supports!
I have two umbrellas attached to my deck railings. One is held in place by these three separate supports. The other was held by an alternate support that has two clamps attached together by a spacer. In a huge wind storm yesterday, the umbrella held by the three clamps of this product was fine. The other umbrella, however, was blown forward and the aluminum rod was bent over the top of the clamp by more than 90 degrees! Conclusion: use these three clamps to support your umbrella installation! Space them out so that one clamp is as low as possible, one is as high as possible, and the other is in-between.

Awesome grip
I have been looking for a while for some nice brackets to mount an umbrella to my balcony. These worked fantastic. One would probably be plenty but we used two for stability. They hold on great and no tools needed.

INSTRUCTIONS?????
I have a pile of parts with NO instructions...how difficult is it to include instructions? I am mind blown that sellers are not even lookingat their product(s) from a customer perspective..Ok so the box arrives along with the parts and the expectation (even for those with low expectations is that instructions are included).Good thing I figured it out...BUT I could use more and so can my business..BUT I will purchase (regardless of price) from a seller that can provide instructions and support for their product. It is called customer service 101.

FINALLY - a patio umbrella holder that doesn’t require a table!
I still don’t love the fact it cost me nearly $40 for a few metal brackets and bolts but I do love this umbrella holder. Our deck is tiny and I would rather use the limited space for comfy seating than a table. I have a standard weighted holder but it doesn’t work well unless used with a regular table. Too bottom heavy and not enough structure up high. Plus, it takes up space too! This takes up no space and because there is a bracket at bottom, middle and top of the railing baluster, the engineering works. Made me so happy the first day I was sitting out there in the shade, a strong breeze was blowing through, and the umbrella didn’t budge! Finally! (PS - I never leave my umbrella up when I’m not using it, which means it hasn’t been tested through a storm or anything, but leaving umbrellas up during a storm is a bad idea anyway, so I would not see it as a fail if it can’t hold up to storm gales).

It Works!
If you look for it on Amazon, you will find. The sun sets facing my balcony and the glare and the heat can be too much. I needed some sort of shade but the balcony isn’t that wide and I didn’t want to put one of those big umbrella bases on it. I was skeptical that these would work, but they do! Quite nicely I might add.I have a metal railing with metal vertical bars that were just painted. So, I went to the store and got some foam door insulation strip and wrapped it around both the vertical bar and the umbrella pole. Worked perfectly and the additional benefit was that everything was nice and snug, better than just metal on metal. My only wish is that they would come in a package of 4. I only need two per umbrella, so I will have to buy three more even though I only need one.

Holding up my umbrella on an odd metal railing
I had a lot of trouble figuring out how to attach my umbrella to the odd metal railing, but this finally seemed to do the job. I have 2 securing the top and will add the 3rd to the bottom just to be safe. The pole seems secure and I'll get someone else to make sure everything is tightened enough. Finally. I can't tell you how many different things I tried.

Secured My Patio Umbrella
Just used these to secure a patio umbrella and LED torch lights. I did use two for the umbrella to add more stability. So far no issues. Great price.

Don't buy
I cant find a way to reach out to company so unfortunately I have to leave a not so good review. I put then up no problem..assembly is easy...unfortunately the slightest bit of wind and pull from umbrella has cause them to bend and kink compromising the integrity of the brace... would like a replacement or refund

Sturdy buy not best design
We are using these brackets to attach a 9 foot umbrella to our wooden deck railing. They are definitely sturdy enough, but the metal brackets could be better designed. The back half of each bracket is v-shaped which is ok for holding a round umbrella pole, but the front half of the metal bracket is flat….which does not hold a round pole very well. I glued rubber strips to this piece to create more of a v-shape, and also glued flat rubber pieces to the back v-shaped bracket and it works much better. We struggled to find better solutions for our situation, and at least these are sturdy metal construction. These brackets are for bigger umbrella poles, not thin poles.
