This is a small, very nice little pillow. I use it between my knees because I like to sleep sideways. I also use this pillow as a zafu for meditation: it's perfect!

The size is terrible wrong. Personal pillow means a baby pillow ? Pls put international unit regarding the size

MY BEING CHEMICALLY & GENERALLY VERY SENSITIVE MADE ME SCARED TO EVEN GIVE THIS PILLOW A TRY given some very scary comments from some Amazon reviewers. HOWEVER SOME OTHER REVIEWERS I NOTICED BECAUSE OF VERY ACCURATE & HELPFUL REVIEWS THEY POSTED RAVED ABOUT IT SO MUCH THAT I DECIDED THE REFUND GUARANTEE MADE IT WORTH AT LEAST TRYING OUT.I'M SO GRATEFUL I DID AS I FOUND NO SMELL WHATSOEVER NOT EVEN WHEN I FIRST TOOK IT OUT OF ITS GREAT PLASTIC CARRYING BAG WHICH IS HIGHLY UNUSUAL AS MY CHEMICAL SENSITIVITIES USUALLY REQUIRE EXTENSIVE AIRING OUT OF ANYTHING STORED IN A PLASTIC BAG & VERY OFTEN OF ANYTHING NEW AS NEW MATERIALS/OBJECTS ARE OFTEN TREATED OR EXPOSED TO VARIOUS CHEMICALS OR SCENTS either during manufacturing or while boxed up.SO IT'S A HUGELY POSITIVE SIGN THAT IT FELT SO GOOD IMMEDIATELY UPON ARRIVAL. As I often can't handle many new items such as the standard 3-ring vinyl file binders or a rubber stopper for my sink without their having to be left outside my house to air out for more than 6 months, THIS TELLS ME THAT ANY "NOT ORGANIC" OR CHEMICAL EXPOSURE SOME REVIEWERS WARN ABOUT DOES NOT SEEM TO APPLY HERE UNLESS THEY GOT A DIFFERENT PRODUCT OR THAT GOT CONTAMINATED BY SOMETHING ELSE SOMEWHERE ON THE WAY TO THEM.MOST IMPORTANTLY THOUGH I'M SO GRATEFUL A GREAT AMAZON REVIEWER'S CREDIBILITY CONVINCED ME TO GIVE THIS PILLOW A TRY because for the past few years I have been using a rolled up towel which never worked ideally but I got so tired of having had to give away way too many pillows I'd unsuccessfully tried + no longer wanted to keep putting in endless hours it took each time I tried to find a pillow that might work well for a smaller person (5'2).So IT AMAZED ME THAT THE HEIGHT ARRIVED PRETTY IDEAL FOR ME AS A SIDE-SLEEPER DESPITE EVERY OTHER PILLOW I'VE EVER TRIED BEING WAY TOO THICK WHILE TRAVEL OR KIDS' PILLOWS ENDED UP TOO INSUBSTANTIAL TO PROVIDE PROPER SUPPORT. Thus everybody including my chiropractor & the best salespeople had given up on any possibility of finding a pillow that would not result in my head being raised too high & thus stressing my neck which is why the adaptable height of the towel roll had been the best solution so far.OPENING UP THE ZIPPER TO REMOVE OR ADD MORE BUCKWHEAT HUSKS WAS SUPER EASY. I had initially thought I would experiment with adding other types of grains or even rice as I have seen some pillow using those over the years. However, I then realised THE BUCKWHEAT HUSKS DO SEEM TO PROVIDE THE IDEAL MIX OF SUFFICIENT SUPPORT WHILE BEING ADAPTABLE + I LOVE HOW EASY IT IS TO INCREASE OR DECREASE THE THICKNESS OF THE PILLOW AS DESIRED INCLUDING AS THE HUSKS WEAR DOWN OVER TIME as worsening support usually makes even super expensive pillows not last very long.I ALSO LOVE THAT IT IDEALLY FITS (by putting it sideways) INTO THE GREAT "SLEEP TITE" STANDARD PILLOW PROTECTORS I got from Amazon a few years ago. I love those as they provide a natural (i.e. without requiring chemicals) barrier for dust mites + they have a cotton exterior with a waterproof inner lining that helps further protect the pillow. I find this extra helpful as I often drool while sleeping during times when I'm detoxing heavy metals (which a naturopathic doctor said is in fact one of the indications of heavy metal toxicity but urine tests had already proven that to be the case for me by the time I got this information).I was even more thrilled to find that this pillow along with the pillow protector then fits easily into the great "Sweet Dream" luxury bridal satin pillow cases I bought through Amazon last year. THAT WAS THE FINAL PIECE IN MAKING THIS MY IDEAL PILLOW as I so love the convenience & great feel of the beautiful & luxuriously silky soft fabric ideal for curly hair that also brings benefits for one's skin. And they're super easy to wash including in holding up fine even when I throw them in the washing machine along with my regular wash (i.e. for speed & convenience I didn't wait for a cold or gentle cycle wash despite that being the recommend machine washing instructions). How rapidly they dry never ceases to amaze me even when I hand wash & skimp on wringing for speed. I think the fast-drying material may be why these pillow cases last great in look & feel & smell for way longer than any other pillow case I've ever used which makes them pure luxury & ideal in every way.6/5/15 UPDATE: the more I use this pillow the more I love it, including because I since experimented with removing 2 protein powder containers worth of the buckwheat husks & find IT IS NOW THE ABSOLUTELY PERFECT PILLOW IN EVERY WAY INCLUDING BECAUSE BY BEING A LITTLE LESS FULL, IT IS NOW EASIER TO MOLD IT TO PERFECTLY CRADLE & SUPPORT THE BASE OF MY SKULL & ADJUST THAT SUPPORT AS DESIRED AS I MOVE AROUND.EVEN BEFORE I FIGURED OUT THIS WAY TO MAKE IT EVEN MORE IDEALLY SUPPORTIVE (which happened last night because I had wanted to experiment to see the impact of different thickness), BOTH MY CHIROPRACTOR & I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE HUGE IMPROVEMENTS IN MY UPPER BACK & NECK WHEN I SAW HIM YESTERDAY AFTER ONLY 5 DAYS OF SWITCHING TO THIS PILLOW. My entire back was way more flexible & moving in ways I had never experienced & the pillow was the only difference since my last session. I COULD NOT BELIEVE A PILLOW COULD RESULT IN SUCH HUGE & VERY NOTICEABLE DIFFERENCES SO FAST BUT MY CHIROPRACTOR SAID IT ABSOLUTELY CAN & HE ASKED FOR THE NAME BECAUSE SO MANY OF HIS PATIENTS KEEP ASKING HIM TO RECOMMEND A GOOD PILLOW (as I did also & he always used to say it was such a shame that nobody had yet found a good solution given how key it is to our health both to get good sleep & to stay properly aligned & supported).NOTE THAT I HAVE NO TIES TO & GET NO BENEFIT FROM RECOMMENDING ANY COMPANY OR PRODUCT as I am self-employed & do not take new clients as I have a great set of long-standing clients who wonderfully enable my ideal work-life balance. HOWEVER, AS A CONCERNED CONSUMER SEEING HOW OFTEN AMAZON REVIEWS CAN BE MIS-USED OR DISTORTED NEGATIVELY BY COMPETING COMPANIES & POSITIVELY BY SOME MANUFACTURERS/SELLERS, I PURPOSELY TAKE THE TIME WHENEVER I CAN TO HELP OTHER CONSUMERS GET A MORE ACCURATE SENSE OF WHAT TRULY IS A GOOD OR EFFECTIVE PRODUCT OR NOT as I know how very helpful it has been to me to find those in the many times I've had to search for something new or different.

I use to have this pillow for years. Its the only one I could sleep on. Then I just couldnt find it again. There are many buckwheat pillows and I've wasted lots of money on a few other brands and gave up. I cant believe I found it again! Super happy, no neck pain! Its very durable.

I tried almost anything else on the market, but nothing comes close to the buckwheat pillows for good support and pain relief. I agree, they might not be the best for comfort, but this is a small sacrifice to pay, compared to the total support you get. I have been using this kind of pillows for over 30 years now.I recommend you don't seriously consider the negative reviews, who don't know any better (they are to be taken with a big grain of salt)Note: with time, they start to smell because of your head sweating on them. Bukwheat can not be washed. This is when I usually decide to purchase another one.I have recently tried other kinds of pillows, but I quickly came back to this one. You might find greater comfort in other pillows, but you'll never get the best support like buckwheat pillows provide.
