We play this game with some easier rules and it is great as a family. The strategy helps my 11 and 12 year old with critical thinking and makes it fun!

Loved it. If you are a fan of stratego, get this. I like the pieces and I like the way you can do varying degrees of complexity for the game. I play with younger family so we do not use all the rules and cards., but if im playing with more adults we add the rules as we see fit. real cool game.

This is a great game for Stratego fans. I was always a huge fan growing up, so I very much enjoyed this game. My personal feelings were a 5/5 rating. However, as with any board game, its about the people you play it with also. Unfortunately, my family didn't love it as much as I did. There are some new rules like the sneak attacks that can dramatically change the balance of the game and turn the tides in an instant. Something that my purest friend didn't appreciate when he thought he was well on his way to victory and I surprised him behind enemy lines and captured his flag. If you're a fan of Stratego, its definitely worth a try. If nothing else, you can throw out some of the new rules and use your own house rules, which can make the game as fun as your imagination.

I run a junior high game club. The kids have really been into Stratego recently (every few months there’s a new obsession). I saw this and decided to give it a try. It is excellent. Pieces are cleverly designed to keep piece values private. To scale up to four players, they cleverly ditched the grid design of the traditional board. The new game board resembles Risk, but the play doesn’t. Games take about 45-60 minutes. Best for 3 or 4 players. Intensity resembles traditional Stratego. If you have a Stratego fan at home, this will be a hit.

This is a good game but the instructionsMake it confusing

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my oldest grandson. Stratego was what he asked for. There are several versions, but this was the only one that said it was for up to 4 players. We played it with both grandsons, their dad and myself, and had a good time!

This is my new FAVORITE GAME OF ALL TIME!! I have all of the versions of stratego and this one is the BEST,,, good for families etc that might not play original stratego anymore and want something fresh. However this is also perfect for ANYONE that wants to stimulate their brains and do something rare in the digital age,,,interact.It is a delicious blend of stratego and risk and we are hooked...

Wow, a fun twist on a classic. If you loved the ease of stratego but want a bit more depth without entering all the “Risk” spin offs, this is for you.
