Pelican 1610 Padded Divider Set

If you use Pelican cases for equipment, these dividers are a must. They are great, particularly compared to cut inplace foam. The foam might be ok if you have a few large items, but if you assemble a kit of equipment (maybe 50 items such as camera, video, tape measures, etc.), this is the way to go. Not cheap, but very well made. The Velcro allows you to customize the interior of the case. Comes with a lot of dividers; more than I typically use. The new version seems to be black, compared to the older silver--doesnt matter to me. For me, a large case, like a 1610; the dividers are a must. Great product.

The construction of the product is excelent but isnt the same of the picture. I only recive one padded dividers.

These work great, and they are a must of you are transporting photography gear. Forget the foam, the foam is absolute junk.I have 2 complaints, that's the reason for the 4 star instead of 5 star review.#1: These should be at least an inch taller. When I put small items (radio flash triggers) near the handle they fall don't stay put and fall towards to bottom of the case. I have the lid organizer, not the foam under the lid so that may contribute to the problem too. I solved it by putting the smaller items so they will be at the bottom when the case is stood up. If you have the foam on the lid, you may not have this same issue.#2: Over a hundred bucks for these is total price gouging. The case with these installed was even more combined, that's why I bought them separate. I couldn't find anything else that would work so I was stuck paying for these. If you can find an alternative, other than the foam, pass on these and go for the alternative.I don't have a whole lot to say about them, they do what they were intended to do. They allow me to change the layout in the case as needed. I sometimes change the layout based on whether I am doing a strictly photo job or photo and video work. They have adequate padding and they fit perfectly.

I got the 1610 Case Divider because I have a couple of Pelican Cases that were at one point used for something else so I had custom foam for the previous item. I tried the Pick-N-Pluck but found it very spotty. I don't like how the Pick N Pluck worked and usually ended up accidentally plucking too much and then I was stuck. The Padded Divider was perfect because it's not permanent. Of course it's not as secure and items can move around, but I am using the case to pack random tech / photo items so I didn't want the permanent foam cut outs. It has given new life to a pelican case that was just sitting in my basement.Pros:- Useful for reconfiguring based on current needsCons:- I wish there were different divider lengths instead of just the two types

This is much better than the foam cushions. However, the description and picture shown of product don't match. Item description says single layer, but picture shows 2 divider sets implying 2 layers. I now assume they are simply showing 2 different configurations. Putting that aside, the product itself is excellent albeit a little overpriced.

very overpriced for what it is, but there isn't much choice if you made the mistake of buying the diced foam in the case. buy the case with this divider already in it. the tan color is MUCH better then black where you can't see anything inside the case.

Excellent fitment and ease of use. I used mine for a Pelican Case camp kitchen. Works great, now my food is air tight, waterproof, pest proof.
