Ceramic Raised Cat Food Bowl, Slanted Cat Dish, Tilt Angle Protect Cat's Spine, Stress Free, Backflow Prevention

My senior can eat in comfort, and she only eats can food now. Wet food just got licked off the end of a standard cat dish onto the floor. The high back side keeps all the food in the bowl for her to eat and not on the floor for me to clean up. She has a bad back and can't sit with ease anymore, so standing makes it easier. Liked it so well I just purchased a second one so I always have a clean one to put fresh food into.Only Con, no hole on the back (as advertised with a photo) of the dish base for ease of holding it.

My only complaint about this bowl is that the color is not the porcelain white that I expected. It is more of an off white color. I am otherwise pleased with the sturdiness, size and utility.

When I received this bowl, I was surprised at how wide it is. That is probably my fault, because I didn't really look at the dimensions in the description. That being said, the bowl works well for the cat. She has had triaditis for the past several years, which causes her to have GI issues, She pukes and the next thing I know, she's having a flare up of pancreatitis or gastritis, and she's miserable and I'm broke because I have to take her to the emergency vet. I started using a raised dish for her last year, and she's definitely improved. Not sure if the height of the dish was a factor in that, but better safe than sorry. That other dish is a small raised ceramic saucer that looked VERY similar to the picture for this one. The difference seemed to be the tilt. The other dish isn't slanted at all. Anyway....... The size of this dish seems excessive to me. I still use it, and the cat is fine with it, but she is also fine with the smaller one that isn't slanted. Regardless, I will keep using the raised dishes for the cat, and hope that her puking and triaditis issues are kept to a minimum.

I bought several variations and brands of cat food bowls, hoping to hit these criteria: (1) ceramic or stainless steel, (2) elevated, (3) tilted, (4) heavyweight so it doesn't move around, (5) curved in the base so the little bits don't all get pushed to the rims and get stuck, (6) aesthetically neutral. This hits all the boxes. This one is on the left and the right is the YWHY pet food bowl; as you can see it's a lot bigger and wider (and heavier!). I have a tiny kitten (3 months) and her wet food serving size is usually around 1~1.5 oz. You'd think this one is too big for such a small kitten and small amount of food but it has the perfect tilt and wide base to make it most comfortable for her. I would recommend this one to the YWHO version (often suggested in the product page together). Nothing wrong with the smaller version but this one just seems much sturdier and well made with all the thoughtful details like curved rims and angles/tilts etc. Easy to clean, as any ceramic bowl.

Seller may want to consider packing for shipment with better padding. Item arrived with bowl broken off from stand. I was able to just superglue the bowl back in place since it was a clean break. Bowl works great - my cat was having a hard time keeping food down in a traditional bowl on the floor and this bowl has completely eliminated that. It’s glazed so it’s super easy to clean with warm water and a dish cloth or sponge. And it’s super cute! I plan to get another one so I can switch them out on wash day.

These bowls are much bigger than I’d expected. When I first opened the box, I thought that they were going to be too big, but it seems that I was wrong. My cats are fine to use them. Sometimes it seems like it looks awkward for them, but I have a feeling that’s just me. One of my cats has a tendency to throwing up and since I got these bowls, I have noticed a decrease in how often she throws up. (I had read in another review before purchasing that someone has read this type of bowls is supposed to have that effect, but I was honestly surprised that it DID!)I’m happy I got these. Oh… they are also dishwasher safe, which is a HUGE bonus for me lol.

Lately I've been noticing by boy has struggled a bit getting down to his food bowl to eat. I put a bowl on top of a shoebox to see if this would help him and sure enough, it did! At that point I began searching for a raised dish and this one continued to pop us with great reviews. As soon as I put it on the floor, Murphy was standing in front of it ready to eat. As you can see, he did not have any reservations and went to town on his food. I highly recommend this bowl and in fact, I plan on purchasing another one the hard kibble.
