I enjoyed it!
Good story. I always appreciate the ones that take place in Cabot Cove. It was a a little slow in getting to the point, but the end tied things up well.

4 stars for this Christmas story
This story starts off ok then kind of spins it’s wheels about half way, but then the writer found themselves and the story finally took off. Was very nice in the end. A few curve balls you didn’t see coming, and was neat ( for me) to figure out the killer before Jessica did. And in the end Christmas Spirit was still alive and well in Cabot Cove.As in all these books they are stand alones but if you can read in order you get to know people and places etc making it more familiar/ homey to the reader. Also like in them all there is no sexual references or language so I can recommend this book to anyone who wants a good book

A White Christmas in Cabot Cove...
This is a heartwarming Christmas tale set in Cabot Cove, Maine. I am a huge fan of the T.V. Series and this book did not disappoint. Christmas is one of the big events in a small town. A Murder sets in motion a chain of events to make Christmas difficult. No one wants to have the News and Television people under foot and in their face blocking all the wonderful events yet to happen. In fact, it puts a damper on the Holiday.Jessica is soon drawn into the mystery of a death in her beloved town. The events are believable and follow the wonderful Characters of the series. That was very important to me that I could hear Jessica, Seth and Mort as I read this book. If you started the Series in the beginning and didn't feel that way... this one will change your mind. I very much enjoyed it.

Loved the Book as well as the Series
I found this story entertaining & a good read. I am not a rabid fan of Murder She Wrote the series but I have always found Angela Lansbury's characters to be interesting. I had always watched the series during it's original run & watched it when it went into syndication. One thing I liked about the series was the employing of the many actors, women & men, who no longer populated the TV screen except for the movies on TCM & AMC as well as TV series of 50s & 60s. The books have the same flavor as the series with the addition of what Jessica thought & felt. I would classify it as an excellent Cozy Mystery if one is in to this genre as I am. I don't read mysteries to solve them but for pure entertainment value. I would recommend them to my friends who enjoyed the series & to others who might be interested to find out what Jessica Fletcher is beyond the series.

good book
this gets a 4 star because author should of had Seth play Santa clause instead of mrs fletcher, like he has done in other murder she wrote Christmas mystery books when man who plays Santa clause every year gets murdered

Who killed Cabot Cove's Santa?
Christmastime in Cabot Cove and time for the annual Christmas Festival. But where's Santa? Why, he's been shot dead out on the farm! And Jessica (J.B.) Fletcher is on the case. This continuation of Cabot Cove capers is a comfortable visit with old friends. The "Murder, She Wrote" book series is "based on the Universal television series" ostensibly written in the 1st person by Jessica Fletcher, with a little help from Donald Bain. This series could have been just an effortless knock-off capitalizing on the TV show - but it is, actually, quite good and could be a standout stand alone series of its own. More's the better that it offers the opportunity to continue the Cabot Cove characters we've come to cherish on TV.It's a (quaint little cozy and) Wonderful Life! (and death.) /TundraVision, Amazon Reviewer.

Who killed Santa Claus....?
A festive murder mystery set in Cabot Cove, this time Jessica Fletcher gets herself involved with the murder of Santa Claus....or rather, the Cabot Cove resident who has played him for many years. A good solid mystery that delivers enjoyment wise and with an immensely likeable protagonist in Jessica. An easy going read.
