I love this pen. I make a lot of corrections on documents that I have to mark up. No I am not a teacher but close enough. Trying to find the right pen that I need or want to use sometimes is a hassle. Not to mention that having 4 pens on your desk and rotating them gets in the way. Having this all in one makes life a lot easier. I actually get a few people this pen as a gift and they love it. Including the person that stole my red on.

UPDATE: SEE BELOW I first rated this as a '1' because the lead would not advance. Some tried to help but sad to say I was doing what was suggested and no advancement. I checked YOUTUBE and was only finding the same advice. WELL, TODAY (almost 2 months later) I tried YOUTUBE again and came across Tokyo Pen Shop. HURRAH! PROBLEM SOLVED! AS SHE SAID YOU FIRST HAVE TO GIVE IT TWO "HARD" CLICKS! Voila!! Now it works and my rating here jumped up to a "5".Prior "1" rating: Everything works but the mechanical pencil. The tip comes out, but no matter how many times I try (clicking) the lead does not come out. Evidently the lead isn't internally being led into the 'feed' tube. I've never been disappointed in a Dr Grip but I am totally disappointed in this one. I have several of the pens, but wanted this variation of choices. 'sigh'.

I fell in love with this pen almost five years ago and have continued to use it. I love the feel, the weight, the look ... BUT, in every case (and I have 5 of these spread around the house, purse and car and my husband has 2) the green and red ink just doesn't work!!! It starts off ok and then just freezes up and you can try as you might, they don't work. I've even taken a lighter to the end to try to make it work and it does, for one word. I ordered new refills a couple times, same story. So that's why I'm giving it 3-stars, only 60% of the pen actually works. I just ordered the Uni Jetstream to see if it's any better.

This pen (and pencil) writes super smooth and your hand doesn’t tire after prolonged use. My only complaint is the black ink runs out quickly (however I do use black the most) but refills are easy to put in. TIP: After you slide down the pencil selector, slide it down again to get the lead to come out. It took me a few minutes to figure this out. It almost feels like you are going to break it but after you do it you’ll see it works perfectly. I definitely recommend THIS pen. After I received this one, I ordered another color and didn’t realize it was being sold by another seller which was definitely not the real pen! It didn’t write smooth like my first pen I purchased from this seller. Be aware of who you are buying from. This seller sends you the pen in it’s original packaging. The other “scam” seller just sent it in a plastic bag. I returned the fake pen and received a refund.

I had to watch a video on how to advance the lead (push the pen clip ALL the way down, not just what feels natural). Otherwise, it works great!!!

I do a lot of drawing and writing. I'm also a teacher, so I want to have multiple colored inks at the tip of my fingers.This is 100% the smoothest pencil you'll ever write with. I tutor Japanese people -- for anyone who knows Japanese culture, stationary is VERY important to them -- and EVERY Japanese person I let use this pencil, they are ALL blown away by how smooth this pencil is. They all buy some sort of super expensive lead that helps make their pencil write smooth, but then they try this with whatever cheap-o lead I put in there, and you can see their face light up.This is 100% THE best pencil on the market, and on top of that, it has 4 pens and an eraser with it, all in one.

I had high hopes but they were dashed. The pen is a very fine point so the writing isn’t smooth which negates any benefit the grip would have had. Nice to have lots of tools in one but it is not a pleasure to write with at all. I usually love pilot pens but this was a disappointment.

These pens are amazing but for the price, they fall apart very easily. When wearing on my lanyard, the silver tip of the pen will randomly fall off and I now have 2 pens that cannot be used. They write amazingly and have a good weight to them but sadly, not worth the money if they break so easily.

Uso penne multifunzione da anni e questa è senz'altro la migliore che abbia mai avuto.Ci sono solo due nei: uno piccolo e uno gigante.Il piccolo è che la mina di grafite è diametro 0,5 mm e non 0,7 che avrei preferito.Quello GIGANTE è che non riesco da nessuna parte a trovare i refill!!! Né su Amazon, né sul web (ho già scritto a Pilot Italia senza avere nessuna risposta, né nelle cartolerie.QUALCUNO PUO' AIUTARMI?Grazie

This pen is my pen I use for work everyday. I replace the cartridges and I have no issues using it. It writes nice. It’s easy to refill the cartridges.Seems to be made heavy duty. Would recommend!
