Exactly what I needed. I haven't installed all of it yet but I have made a few custom cables.

This stuff is great and very very stiff. It's not easy to work with, but it's definitely a high quality shielded cable. We built 2 offices in our house and networked the house while we were at it since we work from home. The quality of this is Cat6 cable is really really good. Like I said its not easy to work with and can be exhausting because of the weight adds up with multiple runs and it doesn't bend well. However I wouldn't recommend any other type and I've worked with cat5 and other Cat6 commercial grade cable w nylon plenum. I'm not a professional installer, I'm a hobbyist that does alot of research and believes if you're going to do something, you put in the time and effort to do it right and this is the product for the job. I did consider wiring with cat 7, but it's wayyy too expensive right now when you add in the cat7 male connectors and keystones. I considered it to "future proof" our home, but our isp isn't near ready for that and ppl are still using cat5. As for quality and cost is why I landed on this. Best of luck!Also I looked into different colored connectors and even the pass-thru connectors, but they don't fit it. This cable in diameter is too big for those flexible supports where a male end terminates...and the pure copper wires are too big for pass-thru connectors. Which a pass-thru makes it easier, but you don't want to sacrifice quality of cable and connection for the convenience of pass-thru connectors. Goodluck finding connectors for this cable, the insulation on the twisted pair is too thick for cat 6 pass through connectors or regular sleeve cat 6 connectors. The company hasn't answered questions about which connectors this cable prefers. I had hell trying to put connectors on, it wasn't worth the time.

The cable is well foil shielded. Because of the thickness of the plastic center, it is too difficult to crimp RJ-45 connectors on. It is best to punch down the plenum cable onto a keystone jack, and then attach a regular ethernet cable on the other side.

Seems to be good. Outside box came pretty damaged but the inside was fine. Carriers don't care about your product, just want to get the delivery done. Whatever happened to good Quality Control?

I am using this to create an AVB network which requires shielded cable. I also needed plenum rated cable as it was being pulled through an old central vac system. This worked as advertised. It's thicker than normal cable and harder to pull, but definitely feels more solid. I had no issues stripping and punching down.

Cable did the job to keep signal noise out of the network. Easy to use spool, cable was good quality and easy to work with.
