This was a very good purchase. I normally wear a 7 3/8 long oval hat, but the other reviews were correct when they said that the sizes run small. I like extra room when I wear headgear like this, so I ordered the xx-large. The extra room allows for more comfort when wearing it for extended periods of time and it also allows for a thin watch cap to be worn underneath like layering shirts to keep the proper core body temperature depending on the activity level.This xx-large hat fits only slightly larger than a large. It's a good and comfortable fit, but it's not as roomy as a person would expect from that size.One thing about this hat that is a little disappointing is that the front fur flap is sewn to the hat so that it can not be lowered to cover my face if I wanted. Other hats that I have seen use snaps or velcro that allows the front flap to be lowered. On the other hand, this hat looks more refined and finished because that front flap is sewn in place.The hat lining is soft, but it's not rabbit fur soft. It's wool and that means that it's a little rougher. Overall, it's a very good hat and the shipping was amazingly fast. I would have received the hat in less than 48 hours if not for the week-end and It shipped from Istanbul Turkey.

Sizing chart accurate, hat fits well and looks great. Have worn it in snowstorm and mid-teens temperatures and ears and head are toasty warm. Great buy for the price.

Nice product. It does feel like leather. Not sure about the wool, but it is warm and has a good feel.

I own all threeUGG Trapper Hat - $100 - (Retails for $195) - Not fully lined. Only the trim. Excellent leather. Sloppy fit. Doesn't cover the ears well.Overland Trapper Hat - $75 - Fully lined. Luxurious fur. Forms around the ears perfectly (untied). Soft leather but rustic "outdoorsey" looking. Could be better cut and stitched. Really well made but a little sloppy.Zavelio - $31 - Thick leather. Fur almost as luxurious as Overland. Better construction. Doesn't slide on the head as perfectly as Overland but once on fits really well. Doesn't cover the ears quite as snugly as Overland (untied). I'm a 22 and three quarters inch. The large is a smidge tight but leather stretches, fur mattes, it's already fitting better.The UGG was a waste of money. It's for fashion. The Overland is a keeper and a much better value than the UGG. The Zavelio is one of the best bargains I've come across in years. Maybe 80-90% of the Overland at less than half the price.Next year I will try a Sterkowski Trapper Hat.

The fit and overall quality is worth the money spent.

I work outside in the freezing cold for 9 hours a day and the carhartt hats just weren’t cutting it this hat keeps you warmer than any hat out there it also blocks the wind and it looks great as well I’d recommend this brand for anybody

This is pretty good for nominally cold weather, but the quality is not as robust as I was expecting, and fulfills the old adage, you get what you pay for. Wearing it everyday, it's not gonna hold-up for too many seasons. If for just occasional wear, and if you baby it, you'll get your money's worth.

Arrived in time. I ordered the black leather outer skin hat that has the black sheep skin fur on the inside. It fits perfectly and has the flaps that come down over the ears. Extremely warm and love it. Perfect match for my black winter coat. Quality product and made in Turkey.

This is a very nice quality item. With the flaps up it is really white. I look like a 250 pound Q-Tip. I have a rather large head so the XL size was perfect for me.
