I am a big fan of these hoses for there ease of use and retracting ability. I had 2 other brands that didn’t last a year. THIS brand has the protective plastic tubing at the water connection. Important! There appears to be a rubber inner tubing and if that disconnects from metal ring from stretching, bending and pulling right at metal connection the hose is useless. Since its all internal there is nothing you can do. It leaked and had no pressure yet externally hose looks fine. I saw this hose with guard. The rigidity prevents over stretching and bending damage so I’m hoping to get longevity out of this design.

I purchased the 100 footer.I am an avid gardener (on almost 7 acres) and have tried virtually every hose out there….all the light weight self coiling ones that only last a couple of seasons, metal ones which end up springing leaks, kinkless ones that are still too heavy and cumbersome, cloth ones that always kink, heavy duty ones that weigh a TON, ones with non brass fittings which always corrode. None of them ever fit the bill and and I’m always looking for a lightweight, kink-less easy to use hose. This one is a PLEASURE to use. It is super lightweight (lighter than ANY other hose I’ve purchased), has brass fittings which is a real plus, doesn’t kink at all, and is so, so easy to maneuver around my property.My only concern about this hose is if it will last due to some of the reviews I’ve read about it leaking at the connections or springing leaks along the hose. Time will tell. I purchased the extended 3 year warranty just in case. Well worth it IMO.When the water at the spigot is off, the hose is fully recoiled. When the water is turned on at the spigot with the spray end closed, the hose will expand fully. But when you then open the sprayer to water something, the hose will recoil a few feet….so you are not truly getting the the full length you purchased. So, a 100 foot hose is only fully expanded when the water is on at the spigot but the sprayer is shut off at the end and not actually watering. So best to get the next size up for the actual length you want to reach.Also, I always relieve the water pressure and let the water run out of my hoses when not in active use, and i also store them inside at the end of every season.

This hose is super convenient. It’s lightweight, and compact design make is easy to hook up and go. When the water is on, it grows exponentially and has some stretch to it still. Great buy for the amount you pay.

Seemed good at first, light weight and kink free. Several pin size leaks started 4 months later. Hose was well kept and not dragged around.

Lightweight and easy to use. Does catch on items when dragging it through the yard though. Primary use was to water plants around the yard

I do like this hose. I hope it will last a few summers. I'm not sure it is sturdy enough. It is already showing wear - small threads sticking out from the hose. It does not get rough treatment - we will see how it goes.
