If you have a big neck and large head...
I wear a 17 collar, and this is tight on me... I know its on all the time and have to consciously calm my self down every once in awhile as it starts making me feel claustrophobic. Might be good for women and children, but Bubbas beware

Product Made in China
I was disappointed when this product arrived because I was researching for USA products and companies before purchasing. The advertisement stated American company which is true but the product is "Made in China". Overall, the purpose for my purchase was to use as a face cover when going out in public while our state (PA) had it's face mask in public requirement. This is not the right product to use for this type of protection. The material is very silky and thin. It does not stay up on your nose very well. It will also fog up your glasses while wearing. For the price, I was very disappointed in what we received.

Is my best exercise mask.
I run, bike, hike and speed walk. I wear a mask while exercising. I have four different manufacturer’s neck gaiters that I use as masks when exercising.I purchased a Windrider UPF50+ neck gaiter from Amazon for my wife to wear as a mask while biking with me.I was so impressed by the Windrider neck gaiter that I purchased two for myself. All my neck gaiters are breathable when dry. All get progressively less breathable as they get wet from sweat or rain. None of them are usable as a mask when saturated because I cannot inhale through the saturated fabric. The Windrider is the most breathable of the group when dry. I take it off and flip the bottom to the top when it is damp and difficult to inhale through. I carry an extra with me on long runs so I can switch masks when the first is too wet.It fits me fine. Stays in place. It is well made. Looks nice. It is as described in the Amazon advertisement. The only issue might be if you have a very thick neck. It has the smallest width of my gaiters.

Great for small heads; too hot for use as a facemask in summer; too slippery for hair containment
I have a small head. Like really small. I'm an adult and usually wear kids' hats. Most Buff style gaiters are 9.8" wide, which is just way too big for me. This WindRider is smaller than average. It stays on my face without slipping! I used it as a facemask and it actually stayed up. I was stunned and thrilled. Unfortunately, it's very muggy where I live and after about five minutes of outdoor wear, my face was a sweaty slime factory; I felt like I was suffocating. I own a lot of gaiters because I use them to keep my hair up but sadly, the lining of this gaiter is so slick I can't get it to stay on top of my head.Pros* Great, cheerful colors and design. (I got the Mahi Madness.)* Stays put on small faces.d* Will make a fine facemask in fall and winter.Cons* If you have a big head, you may find this too tight.* NOT breathable as a face mask in heat/humidity.* Too slippery to use as a hairband.

convenience and comfort
I think it is a snow boarding accessory. This device is sort of like a turtleneck. you pull it over your head. You can leave it around your neck or you can pull it up to cover your mouth, nose, even your eyes if like. The fabric is very comfortable and stretchy. It rinses out and dries quickly. Do not walk in to a bank wearing one of these.

Good for use during this time of pandemic, but not for plus sizes
While I am aware that these are not rated to stop the spread of COVID, if you are outside exercising and want an alternative to a mask that you can quickly pull up over your mouth and nose if you get too close to someone, this is a good option. It is very lightweight and easy to clean after use. The issue I have is that it is not made for a plus size person. It is very tight around the neck. However, my son (who is not plus size) loves it. I don't think it is right to downgrade it too much because of this issue, but just be aware.

Looks nice, but hard to breathe through when damp/wet.
It works OK as a mask. It is made of a nice material and it does feels nice. I wouldn't use it during the summer if you're not in an air-conditioned area, otherwise it'll make you sweat quite a bit around your neck (which ends up making it feel kinda gross to breath through). I felt at times that it was a bit difficult to breath through, especially when damp, so you won't be using it all day without drying it or switching it out for another one. Also at times it felt a bit tight. I give this thing 3 stars, but I see how others could like it more. You'll have to try it yourself and see how you like it.

Works for my husband
Was looking for an alternative to face masks and my husband has been meaning to purchase sometime like this for when he's doing outdoor sports for sun protection. This works great - breathable and easy to put in a pocket or just leave around your neck.
