These inserts are great when you are walking a lot or active - the arch gets a bit too high for me if I'm just sitting. They are FitStep so that's expected. I work retail and was able to wear them all day on our busy days when I never sit down. On the days that I'm doing office work, I have to slip out of them. I have a wide width foot and these were comfortable in my shoes - they take up very little room but do have a high arch. My daughter has a regular B width foot and tried them in her shoes and they fit comfortably too. I doubt these would work for someone with a narrow width foot. The red does fade onto your socks with wear which surprised me but wasn't a big deal. I received a discount on these insoles in exchange for my honest review. I have worn these insoles for 4 days to give a true review. I will update later if my opinion changes. I plan to order the other types of insoles that DoctorInsole offers too.
