Mime Ministry: An illustrated, easy-to-follow guidebook for organizing, programming and training a troupe of Christian mimes

This book is a marvelous introduction to mime, especially the type of mime practiced by Marcel Marceau. The black and white pictures of a performer dressed as Marceau often did are so clear, you almost don't need any more than the labels. The book includes lots of beginner's knowledge, including how to apply typical mime makeup to the face. I would not let "Ministry" scare you away. They only thing that means is that there are no mime positions of a scatological or pornographic nature in this book/

I purchased this book to help prepare for a mime workshop. The book reminds me more of street mimes and not the modern day church mime. It was helpful and gave me some great ideas for games and technique.It was good for the price I paid.

This book was insightful but not what I needed. However, it was nice to have for the pictures. I would recommend it to someone that may want to put together a mime play or show.

The mime ministry book focused on street miming and I needed a more spiritual approach especially since I am a gospel mime. It was just "ok".

I am well pleased with the book that I purchased, it will help me to teach our youth the joy of Mimeing... :D
