This paint blends and covers well. This is a good quality basic acrylic paint for anyone. I will happily use this brand again.

If you are a beginner you might not need this much. There is a starter pack that has smaller sizes. But this is definitely a great color and one I use and need in a larger size like this.

I love the Amsterdam paints, I use them mostly on tumblers and such as base coats if I'm not using spray paint. They're very vivid and usually cover in one coat, maybe 2 for lighter pigments (like yellow). This purple is absolutely gorgeous, I love it! Will continue to purchase Amsterdam.

This is good acrylic paint, not highest level like Golden or Pro Liquitex, but good paint. Arrived as scheduled, in a timely manner.

As you see my base was Prussian blue, other colors didn’t mix with when u did the blow out for the Dutch pour, I was surprised. Means it’s highly pigmented and heavy color (I mixed 1:1:1/2 paint, water, Floetrol) the result is extremely beautiful. I absolutely recommend this brand and this beautiful color.

Ordered January 11th - it is SO difficult to get Amsterdam products! They are superior to other brands and yet I wait and wait and then they never arrive. So sad and disappointed :-(

That was the first time I tried Amsterdam paints and I wasn't too impressed with them at all. Their coverage is uneven and not much bang for your buck. I'll stick with Liquitex. They are much better quality paint and a true Pthalo blue.

This was the only place in Canada that I could find the Amsterdam to make my CA. The black creates more cells and the white, more lacing. I have tried several recepies. My best results came from the following recepie: 1 part paint, 9 parts Floetrol and 3-4 drops of Minwax Wood conditionnner. I also add about 4-5 drops of water. The consistancy must be very liquidy in order to sink through the layers of paints.I will order a few more collors to make a light blue CA and another colour.
