Used this for the first time on our 10 week old puppy today- super easy! We had already practiced on him with the cover on to form a positive association. With a peanut butter Kong in hand, I’ve never had an easier time with a dog’s nails before! The guard is so nice to have on- especially with tiny puppy nails. I don’t think I charged it for long enough (or at all) initially, so hopefully after a good long charge it will last a bit longer than it did today- but likely just user error on my part!

It’s very easy to use and my shih tzu and Maltese don’t mind the process at all. Keeps nail in shape and saves tons of money. Quiet, low vibration. Great purchase!

I like the size and the ease of use. I've got smaller hands so this works great. However, it is louder than I anticipated. I got this in the mail a few days ago and I'm still working on acclimating my dogs to the sound. But this does work well as I tried it on my own nails to test it out.

Have a big dog so I pulled the guard off right away as instructed. Fully charged on high speed basically shined up the nail of my Great Pyrenees but did not remove any nail at all. If a bit of pressure is added it immediately bogs down. Got this to make nail trimming easier but it just annoyed my dog. Just out of curiosity I tried it on a callous on my hand. Messed with it for awhile and it barely made a mark. Pretty much useless in my opinion. Maaaybe with a small animal, guinea pig or bird etc, this would work but save your money if you want it for a dog.

This nail grinder is awesome and works very well- it’s basically so quiet, it’s silent and very powerful, very light weight and compact. It even comes with a carrying case. It was a great buy and good value. The diamond grinder wheel and nail guard is nice as well.

It is easy to use, lightweight and is not very loud. I let my little dog (Pekingese) smell it first, then I turned it in and gave him a treat. It did not take very long, a few times, and now associates his “mani/pedi” with his favorite treat... peanut butter.

Took a LOT to grind a little. Doesn’t seem very good for large dogs with tough nails. It was very quiet.
