AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Study Guide with Online Labs: Foundational (CLF-C01) Exam

the book is out of date. it's a useful book, but being out of date..it's entirely overpriced.

I purchased this guide explicitly for the labs; however, the labs are all written for the older, legacy version of the AWS consoles and do not work with the latest version of AWS. I would recommend waiting until the publisher updates the labs. The book itself is also not well organized. The first ~5 chapters all reference concepts that are not presented until chapters 7 and higher, why?? Save your money and buy a guide that is up to date with the current version of AWS.

Bought this book to prepare for renewing my AWS Cloud Practitioner certification. Sybex (owned by Wiley) has apparently outsourced the practice test bank that is offered via the book purchase to a 3rd party. Only browsers that support the online test back are Chrome and Firefox - no Safari and no Edge, etc. Products such as these in today's online training and education environments should be browser neutral. Purchase with care.....

good beginners study guide to start a new career

Material is wonderfully laid out and very comprehensive. The included labs are a bit hard to access and use. Overall though this is a great book to help supplement your studying

Excellent item and service!

This book has been so frustrating to read. They don't cover material, then ask practice questions on the material they didn't cover. Horrible organization, covers CloudFormation in 5 different places. This book is making me hate AWS, and I loved AWS. When you sign up for their site, their help is wile.com/dummies Ummmm, did they just call their customers dummies?I paid a higher price for this book because of the non-existent lab. You can't even download some of their templates. For computer people, you think they'd have heard of bitly.The only redeeming value in this book is the warmth you will feel on a cold night when you burn it.

Getting the online component was a nightmare. No helpful support, hours on the phone and once we got it working it was a total waste of time. Go to an online training provider like digitalcloud. Cheaper than the book and their online component works.
