Having done the first four puzzles I am very impressed! There are precisely thought-out definitions. A treat is that in some cases the clue answers have a relationship to each other instead of being independent. Without giving any actual answers away, you might see SIMPLE, SAMPLE, and SUPPLE in one puzzle. My main experience with Double Crostics was those in Harper's magazine around 1990. My main word puzzling activities these days is cryptic crosswords.

It's a bummer to solve a difficult acrostic and then not care a fig about what the quote says. The puzzles in this book are all interesting, from literature mostly, not "poster" quotes.

Not very challenging.
