Great Book! I just wish...
I wish that the pictures were in color instead of black and white. I've tried a couple of the receipes and they turned out great!! Gone are the days that I go to restaurants, there is no need!!

Small price for good food
Okay, I admit it. I'm a thief and closet Chinese recipe thief. I love all Asian food and am all Asian thumbs and desperate to show my family I know what that wok is good for. Okay, the food doesn't taste identical to PF Changs, but that's 40 miles away in Roseville, so no sweat. However Panda just moved to town...The food I produce is close, but you can tell the difference. THEY can tell the difference. I am not going to blame the author or the recipes, bcs they smell right. I think I'm doing something wrong, so I am still giving five stars. Also bcs this cookbook is FUN! I feel exotic and dangerous and a chef and mostly bcs the food really is delicious even when I make it, plus the recipes are clear and even (dare I say it?) easy.

Favorites at Home
For the past 30 years I have averaged 100 nights/year on the road. That’s a lot of restaurant meals!Though I preferred exploring the unique local eateries, this little book provides recipes for many of my favorites from the chains I would go to when I wanted something reliable and familiar.Very much enjoy cooking them at home now.

Tried
I tried the copycat panda express orange chicken.......Wow it was wonderful. Not quite like Panda but the flavor was magnificent. Can't wait to try more!

OK, but not 5 star
Not what I expected.. I have much better cookbooks for most of the recipes listed. If you need a recipe for an item you enjoyed in one of the 3 restaurants listed in this cookbook, it might be OK for you...just not as special as I'd expected. Paperback, no pictures and lots of printing errors.. Cheaply made.

Love these recipes
Luna Chang's cookbooks are the best. This one has a fantastic selection of takeout favorites. Planning on a lot of Asian cooking this winter.

Good book but presentation could be better
Great idea. A few more pictures and some colour would aid complete novices like me, but overall, a solid effort.
