These rods are flimsy, but you get what you pay for
I have read several reviews from people that are mad about how flimsy these rods are, and I have rolled my eyes every time. You can't expect to pay this small amount of money and get a sturdy product. I purchased this product knowing full and well that I would have to be extra careful in my assembly of this product and I would have to make sure they were in an area of my house where small children wouldn't be pulling on them. Guess what...? They're great. I am perfectly happy with the product because of how much I paid. I went to several stores to find cheap curtain rods and NONE were as inexpensive and nice looking as this. These rods are great for: areas of your home that aren't high traffic areas, or areas where small children may grab ahold of the curtains and possibly ruin the rod.I have had 2 of these rods for almost a year and they still look great. My only complaint is one of the rods was slightly bent when I received it. I was able to easily put it back in shape, though. I might purchase these in the future because they're great in a pinch and I am super happy with the value.

Finials
They are attractive but the finials wont stay oriented to where you put them.

Looks nice! Mounting information below for those curious:
I was hesitant reading reviews, but, this was perfect for me. The pole comes in three parts, the two ends and a middle part, that allows you to slide and adjust the length as you need. It's a loose adjustment though, like it will slide out of place if tilted. So I taped it shut along the seam. This reason alone is why I give 4 and not 5 stars. The swirly parts on the edge are hollow and probably would crack under a boot, but they look nice and look of high quality. So unless you're worried about someone inspecting your curtain rod, this one will do. They pop on and off as well, with a rubber stopper at the end of the rod if you don't want them, so you have choices. It'll look good, and so long as you screw it into something reliable to mount, it'll work. It comes with hooks for mounting, 3 of them, that are like the letter "C" at the end of an "L" The base of the "L" screws into the wall with the provided screws, or the stronger ones I used (not included). The rod pops into the "C" and sits tight enough that it wont slip, but lose enough that you can pop it out if you need to.

Not bad for the price
The decorative ends don’t stay on so good. Fall off easily.

Very nice curtain rod
This curtain rod is well made and pretty to look at. The intricate scroll work on the ends of the rod really make the curtains a good feature and nice to look at. The brushed nickel finish goes well with everything in my house but there are other finishes to choose from. I highly recommend this adjustable curtain rod for anyone that's looking to upgrade the look of their rooms.

MISSING PARTs brackets and middle bar
Got this rod and I knew it was plastic but I do believe it was a return from someone else that didn't return all of the parts. This really ticks me off about returns and no quality assurance people look at it before mailing it out again to someone else. I wish there was a place where we could specify don't want return merchandise want new in original packaging. The middle rod was missing therefore it did not stretch out as far as it was described to do. Therefore, was very flimsy in the middle because of this. No brackets provided, I used the ones I had from the old rod I was replacing. I happened to have a plastic handle from a mini blind I was replacing and was able to use that to reinforce the middle section of the rod. It did work but not what I paid for. Too lazy to take it to Kohl's and return to Amazon. The fennels would not stay on (actually they really never fit properly) like they were meant for another rod. I glued them to the ends. After a little jury rigging I managed to have a rod I could use.

Looks very nice
This is a very pretty curtain rod. The ends are plastic but you cannot tell once it is up. I love the look!

Plastic garbage
I NEVER write one star reviews but this is hands down the most absolute garbage product I have ever purchased off Amazon. It is such poor quality that it isn't even worth returning. I would feel ashamed thinking maybe some other poor sucker would accidentally get this if I returned it.Upon opening the box I realized immediately that we were soaring to new heights of stupidity in manufacturing. Let me count the ways;1. The finials are lightweight plastic. This would not be a problem if they actually had a metallic-look finish, but they do not. They look like the same silver color as a Sprite two-liter screw on plastic top...something that NO ONE could ever possibly mistake for metal. Or maybe a plastic He-Man sword...gray, not metallic.2. The rod has sharp unevenly cut ends. Both ends are giving me fear of tetanus. The rod is actually some sort of flimsy metal. I decided to put the curtains I had intended to use on this just for a lark. I thought maybe I was judging it too harshly so I decided to assemble it to see what it would look like before committing to putting holes in the wall. It was almost impossible to get the curtains onto the rod because the curtains were a gauzy, lacy design that kept snagging on the rod, no matter how careful I was with the ragged uneven metal. I made a mental note that the other curtain would have to feed on over the other end of the rod because this one was simply too ragged. Guess what? The other end is identically ragged.3.After mangling the new curtains, they were finally on the rod...but not for long. Because the ugly plastic finials will not stay on the rod. I think they are supposed to snap into place and I did push rather firmly but in all honesty like I mentioned earlier, visions of tetanus were dancing in my head...what if I pushed too hard and the rod buckled? This is not out of the realm of possibility and it certainly would be embarrassing to be seen at the ER having been accidentally impaled by this manner of garbage. (See pic.)4. The hideous plastic finials are COMICALLY enormous. So if you were thinking that no one walks into a room and inspects finials and the price is right, yada yada... you're wrong. The price is wrong. The finials are wrong. These finials could not be missed, even as much as you might want them to be missed. Everyone will notice them because THEY ARE HUGE. This was for a small window frame in a small room. I would think they would scale down the design to be a bit more petite for the smaller rods to suit a smaller window opening. Nope.In all seriousness, I do think it may be a quick and cheap solution for a lightweight curtain that sits far far far away from anyone's sighted eyes. Like maybe in the next galaxy. But I personally wouldn't recommend them even for that.

Much cheaper than expected
Ive seen similar rods at walmart and had high hopes for this one..but it feels so cheap, and the finials at the ends kept falling off. It just didnt meet my expectations. I am keeping it, just because I wouldnt be bothered to return it...but will not buy it again.

Cheap plastic but look lovely
Poor quality and one decorative piece keeps falling off. Doesn’t install the way it shows in the video but still easy to do. Doesn’t have brackets to hold the rod from moving.Looks nice now that it’s installed but not worth the hassle. Next time I’ll go elsewhere

Easy to install
Would recommend. It is lovely and very easy to install however quite delicate. As I was placing the finial on the end it dropped and pieces cracked off which I immediately had to glue back on. The finials do not snap on - they sit loosely on the ends of the rod. All in all, can’t go wrong at this price.

Make the investment for a higher quality curtain rod.
As someone who has had to look through numerous curtain rods- scrutinizing everything from diameter to length- this curtain rod held up poorly. The length the curtain rod is covering for me is 84 inches.I'll go through the pros of this curtain rod, and then give the cons.* Fantastic color and coating. It looks like you paid a decent amount for it.* Personally, I liked the decals.* Easy SetupThe cons are the deal-breaker.* The main rod is not metal. It's plastic. The outer coating of the rod is metal, which can seem decieving. The inside "telescoping" part is actually plastic, which you can see if you fully extend the rod. That's a huge issue when you have a 120-inch curtain rod. It sags with hardly any weight put on it. While I'm aware that the further a rod is telescoped the less it can carry without sag, I was hoping that an 84-inch gap wouldn't be too problematic. I won't say the product falsely advertised due to the fact the rod itself does have a metal coating- but the support is mere plastic.* The brackets and the rod itself seem to conflict. I was hoping I'd be able to telescope the rod while having it sit upon the brackets. The brackets grip the rod too tightly, causing me to have to measure the rod beforehand to finally get it to sit properly.*
