Very protective packaging
I love these lights! I use them in my kitchen so that I work under full spectrum lighting. It is great lighting and helps with the winter blues.

Cheerful light; my plants love them; short life
Update: The short life span is a greater problem than I thought. I've deducted a star, and I'm trying a different brand. I don't enjoy the light of the new brand as well, but they're supposed to last longer. We'll see.I keep African Violet minis on the ledge of the pass-through window between my kitchen and living room, and they've been thriving since I replaced the regular flood with this bulb. I've just installed a second one over the sink because I'm starting some herb jars in that window, which doesn't get an overabundance of natural light because of big trees. The light is bright without being harsh, and it makes the kitchen feel like a happier place. If only they lasted longer.

Essential for artists
Full spectrum lighting is essential when I'm working on art projects - the limited LED spectrum in most bulbs can really distort things - when I'm mixing colors or painting I use this bulb over my easel to be able to get the best lighting I can on my work in progress.
