Cen-Tec Systems 94731 Quick Click 30 Ft. Hose for Home and Shop Vacuums with Expanded Multi-Brand Power Tool Adapter Set for Dust Collection

For years I have been meaning to get a hose and adapters to connect my saw and sander to my shop vac. I was baffled by the different sizes and wanted to be able to connect to everything. This set was PERFECT. I went with the longer (20ft) hose so I could get the ShopVac out of the way while I am working. It had the perfect size to connect to my DeWalt Orbital Sander. It also fit right into my Worksite Table Saw and connected right up to my ShopVac. I am super happy with the assortment of connection pieces. This is well worth it and the hose is super flexible and well made.

LONG STORY SHORT:Great dust collection solution for your average, at-home wood shop. I'm a hobbyist and DIYer, so a commercial dust collection system would be major overkill, but this system is wonderful for keeping the dust manageable in my garage/woodshop. The quick clip system and multiple adapters make it super easy to switch from one tool to the next, and keep the power tools runnin. I've got adapters on my DeWALT Miter saw, my battery powered Circular saw, and my batter powered Sander. Just take the vacuum hose from one, and clip it to the next.PROS:-Quick Clip system is awesome, so you're not shoving a rubber connector on to every tool, just unclip, and re-clip into the next one.-Hose connector is designed to allow the hose to spin freely, so the hose isn't twisting as you change angles (most noticeable on the sander)-Long 16 foot hose makes it easy to leave your shop vac relatively in one place, and be able to reach multiple tools.-Air relief valve, and adjustment collar on each adapter. Prevents getting stuck on a tool.-Super easy to connect and disconnect.CONS:-Not really a con, but I wish they had sets that had more adapters for a specific type of tool line. For example, maybe you could get a 16ft hose with a "Dewalt style" adapter set. or "Milwaukee style" adapter set that works with most of their tools. I have a couple adapters that I don't have uses for at the moment.CONCLUSION:Buy it. It's reasonably priced, and REALLY helps cut down on the dust you kick up while working in your garage wood shop. **Shop Vac not included.

Overall this is a good set of adapters, etc. The end that is designed to attach to the vac worked fine with my Shop Vac, but I have a Dust Deputy and nothing in this kit will fit the input on it (my solution was to use a piece of 2" dust hose and some duct tape to create an adapter). One the tool end, I'm using three of the adapters in this kit ... two on my miter saws and one on my ROS ... and they seem to work well, but I don't know where I would use the other pieces. The connection between the tool adapter and the hose is secure, but is a bit fiddly when trying to remove it, so if you plan on doing that often and expect it to be quick and easy, that might be a source of some frustration. The hose is sturdy and easy to trim to length ... I didn't need nearly 30', so maybe I'll buy more end pieces and make one or two more hoses and leave the hoses with the tools rather than messing with detaching the connection. Overall, I'm happy I bought it, but as the title says, it wasn't optimal for my needs.

I'm using a Harbor Freight shop vac with a paper bag and HEPA dust filter connected through a Home Depot cyclonic dust separator. Having the Cen-Tec hose and fittings solves the problem of the super fine dust generated by my orbital sanders. The adapters were perfect for a Craftsman Cordless sander and a Bauer corded sander. the suction is such that when done sanding there was hardly any dust left on the wood. I'm very impressed!The adapters will also fit perfectly on my router table and miter saw. The hose is flexible enough to not impede any sanding, yet seems sturdy enough to resist a fair bit of abuse. I highly recommend it.

I wanted a direct way to hook up my Makita orbital sander to my shop vac, and this hose with attachments works great! It comes with several accessories and thankfully one of them sticks onto the dust port of my sander fairly well. It took me a bit to figure out how I could attach the other end to my shop vac (the included attachment is TOO SMALL for the 2.5” opening on my vac), but I found that if I reversed the brush tool on my vac I could stick this hose with attachment into the brush. There is also an attachment that fits my belt sander. The hose is long, durable and pretty flexible, so it’s easy to move around and I can hold it in one hand while sanding with the other if needed. The quick connect coupling is very handy and allows me to unclip so I can use the hose for general clean up. So far it’s been a dream — using pads from 60 to 220 grit are essentially dust free sanding.

Sturdy and easy to use. adapts to most sizes and is relatively easy to change from one to another. The best in customer support: friendly and extremely helpful.

Excellent choice for a mush mash of tools.Hooked up my DeWalt vacuum to a Rigid table saw, Rigid sander, Bosch sander, router table, porter cable belt sander, and Evolution miter saw.It's really having a significant impact on my tiny garage shop.I should have bought it years ago

The hose itself is flexible and easy to maneuver, which is great. However, the quick-click connection doesn't fit tightly, so I had to use a rubber band inside the blue quick-click ring to add a bit more tension. It would be great if the manufacturer could improve the quick-click ring with a thicker material for a more secure fit. Other than that, everything else works well.

Love this hose. It’s durable and strong. I’ve stepped on it, doesn’t kink and works great. Well worth the price.

Ridgid WD40700 is advertised as using a 1-7/8" hose, and the vacuum side of this hose fits perfectly. I tried the tool adapters on various tools (Bosch sander, Kreg pocket hole jig, Ryobi sander) and they fit perfectly too. The tool ends clips in perfectly to my Bosch miter saw without an adapter. The hose itself is well made, and is way longer and more flexible than the hose that came with the vacuum. My only regret is not buying this sooner.

EDIT:It turns out I am missing one coupling. Amazon is sending another kit out. I'll remove the missing coupling and return the rest. Can't complain about that!I’ve just used this a couple of times so far, once with my track saw, and it works very well. The hose tends not to get hung up and the suction is good. The adaptors are nice to have but I seem to have two the same. I should check and see what adapters were supposed to have been included. I’m happy with the purchase.

So far impressed with this item and the adapters come with multiple size which is very helpful and if I remember correctly (need to double check) but I think it is anti-static? If so that is even more valuable as I work with solvents a bit. Quality is really good 👍
