DMI Dressing Kit, Deluxe Dressing Aid, Knee and Hip Replacement Kit, With Sock Aid, No Tie Shoelaces, Dressing Stick, Long Handled Sponge, Reacher Grabber, and Shoe Horn, Blue and White

As a new caregiver, I found this to be a very helpful kit to have. When my partner came home from rehab in a wheelchair, I had to scramble for many things that would help her be able to help herself. This kit had many simple gizmos that make the little tasks easier. The plastic device for grabbing things was most valuable in the shower when she needed to pick up dropped soap. I was a little surprised when it was able to hold on to a wet bar of soap. The back scrubber is helpful for anyone trying to wash their back in the shower. It took a little practice to learn how to use the sock aid, but now she can put on her own socks. The kit also had a long-handled shoehorn to help with her shoes. A couple of other items, we did not have a use for, but I imagine others would. The only drawback to the kit is that what passed for instructions on the kit's wrapper was too brief to be of much help in understanding how to use some of the aids we had never seen before. There was a certain amount of trial and error with a couple of items.

Had a total hip replacement and this kit is a huge help. I was thrilled to master the sock aid! What a clever invention to give you back some independence while maintaining "hip precautions." Shoe horn and "grabber" both work well. I actually picked up a tiny baby aspirin with the grabber. Had no use for the hook. Tried the laces but they wouldn't work on my winter shoes. I opted for slip on shoes or get help with tie shoes. Overall, I'm happy with the quality and usefulness of this kit. I can dress myself now!

I prefer this sock aid greatly over the hard plastic ones however I do not prefer the long handled reacher this comes with. The quality is good I just do not preferred this specific reacher. All of the other devices are perfect however it is kind of weird That the long handle shoehorn has the design as if it is made out of bone. Even though I gave it five stars I don’t know that I will order this exact kid again.

The reaching wand isn't as sturdy as I imagined. The pieces are adequate and useful, but I don't think a couple of them like the sock helper would last more than a few months.

Purchased in anticipation of use after total knee replacement. Elastic strings were very helpful (still using) and long handle shoe horn needed during first few weeks. Never used the sock tool, long handle grabber or long hand sponge. The plastic items, including the grabber and sponge handle are very light weight; non broke but seems fragile. The trade off is that this package of items is much much cheaper than buying them separately at retain drug stores. Would buy it again but caution as to its durability.

Most items were awesome, but, the reacher is made of plastic and was disappointing! Other items were very well made and were helpful.

I found the product to be overall functional but the shoe horn should have been longer and more structurally stable. Also, the reacher for washing could have been better designed and less bulky. Overall, it was as the other kits but some of the individual components seem butter.

I purchased the set mainly for the sock pull. It's soft and is great to pull on socks
