The New Routledge & Van Dale Dutch Dictionary: Dutch-English/English-Dutch

This dictionary is the Dutch-English equivalent of Robert or Duden. I was surprised by the size (smaller than the aforementioned) but the quality of paper and print is excellent. If you are serious about learning Dutch and can afford it, I would strongly recommend it.

Super clear, thoughtfully laid out, detailed, user-friendly dictionary. Really happy to have it - it’s more expensive than some but worth every penny.

Recently started learning Dutch and waited for this new edition to be published. Very happy with this dictionary.

Disapointing and expensive!

well, its bulky, but its great to find a dictionary that gives the article with the noun, HET or DE

This is a really good dictionary for learning Dutch. The vocabulary is extensive for most purposes and it indicates the common and neuter gender of nouns. Verb usage is given with examples.

This seems to be the best Dutch-English English-Dutch dictionary around. Not as big or as comprehensive as the Collins/Pons French-English English-French or German-English English German dictionaries but OK. As I wanted longevity, I decided to get the hardback. Very expensive, though, and made even more expensive by having to pay Brexit-induced customs duty and associated postal handling fees. This was because, despite ordering it through Amazon Germany, it was supplied by a company in the UK and I live in the EU. I wasn't expecting this and if it was mentioned at the time of ordering that it would be coming from the UK, I didn't notice.

About three inches thick, it's not one you will carry around with you, but will want on your desk. It has all you would see in a standard dictionary of your own language, with sample sentences and multiple uses or variations of the words, both on the English-Dutch side and the Dutch-English side. A good buy.

So far so good. I will have to grow into the amount of information in this dictionary!!
