Here is the gist of wearing masks to protect those around you.It needs to obstruct forced air from your nose/mouth from propelling forward when you cough, sneeze, yell, etc. Much research has been done to find the best materials to achieve this. A simplistic way of testing this is to put on the mask and blow hard or cough through it. You can use a candle for visualization or hold your hand in front of your mouth and pull away until you can no longer feel the air.The overwhelming data shows that tightly woven fabrics in multiple layers prevents forward propulsion of droplets the best. No, simply wearing any "mask" you can find isn't the best option as many fabrics out there (ie. wide weave polyester neck gaiters I'm looking at you...) provide minimal to no benefit. If you're going to wear a mask for the recommended reasons, at least put forth effort to make a difference. These masks are a dual layer, however, the material is thin and I can cough and feel the air at an arms length away. Not the best protection, but it is much better than other options I have seen people wearing with a false sense of security.Some of the trade offs for lighter fabric is the comfort of wearing one. I have a dual layer 1200 denier cordura mask that blocks all air from forward propulsion when I use it. It is uncomfortable to wear because of how rigid the material is and is HOT when wearing it. This mask is VERY comfortable to wear and I love that it has an adjustable nose bridge and ear loops. When talking with this mask on since it is lite and soft it doesn't move with my mouth like a rigid mask does. This means it doesn't shift as much because it is flexible.I wouldn't hesitate to wear this mask in the right situations. It is comfortable and fits my face great. Just know the limitations and how close you're going to be to people and you too can do your part.

Look, wearing a mask is showing the rest of the world that you take this pandemic seriously and are doing your part to try to limit the spreading of it. This is a great mask and will do everything you need it to do. Is it fancy, no. It looks great and is comfortable, so I would recommend to anyone that doesn't need an extra special mask.

My wife and I got these masks for our current international trip to Turkey, hoping they would be comfortable and breathable, for it is a long trip. We are required to spend many hours in masks. We are super pleased! Both of us agree that this is the best mask we have tried. The material is light and breathable. Many people have given up on finding a cloth mask they can breath in and have resorted back to the paper ones. These masks are very similar in breathability to the disposable ones. The ears are adjustable, which is very nice, as not every face is "one size fits all." The nose wire is of good quality and keeps our glasses from fogging up. The shape has something to do with that too. My favorite thing about the design is that the mask doesn't touch our lips. I feel claustrophobic in masks, but this one has a little space to breathe, yet it fits snuggly on the edges and under the chin. The only negative for my wife is the white lining. Her lipstick and foundation leave marks, but they do come out in the wash. She would prefer if it was black inside and out. My only negative is that it is a little short for a man's face (nose to chin). It fits my wife perfectly. But this still is the best cloth mask we have used, and we have tried several different styles.

This mask is indeed thin layers therefore, it is very breathable. Every mask has a purpose and each person needs to find the right mask personally. In my opinion, this mask is good for outdoor exercise only. I used to wear a bandana when I exercise outdoor. I tried this one on and it feels about the same as my bandana and more convenient because of the adjustable ears loop which is a plus. I have other homemade masks that are much thicker that I wear to the store or indoor activities. For the purpose I am using for this mask which is outdoor exercise, it is a good mask because it is thin and allow easy breathing.

These masks are great. I like how it is easier to breathe through this mask compared to other ones I have used. They are nice and small but manage to cover my nose and mouth. They are great for glasses wearers because they don't fog up. When they first came they smelled kind of funny but I just let them air out and they were fine. Overall, this is definitely a great product.

Total junk. The nose piece is completely flimsy, and completely worthless because it only goes about an inch on each side, it's also not storing enought I stay in place... The mask itself is nice, I like the adjustable ears, but if you have a nose (as most people do) the top ridge will stay away from your bridge, making the adjustable piece built in even more useless. Also, out of all three that I received, the nose piece was stitched in off balance on all of them about a quarter inch difference. Not happy, as this is the 3rd set I've tried from Amazon with no winners for a man with glasses and a larger face/nose.

Great packaging. Loved that the masks where in a reusable zip lock bag and that the masks inside were in vacuum sealed plastic. Also very helpful to see the certifications and production dates of the masks. Seems comfortable to wear. Advise users to wash before first use to get rid of any “new car” smells on masks.

I've been searching for a while for a mask that works well for glasses wearers and this is not it. Nose bridge doesn't hold its flex and the masks are too mall to fully cover from chin to nose bridge. Even for my wife who has a much smaller head they still wouldn't seal properly at the top.

I do not recommend this, got it for my husband who has a strong chin and these barely fit him, also they are way too thin, I'll have to sew on another 2 layers

These masks look good, fit well, adjust easy and the nose wire holds up after washing. Love them!

Waited a month to get these masks and they don’t even fit properly. They appear to be too small for the average face and always fold inside out when wearing. Poor quality and garbage product
