Our original handle broke and my husband kept using tape to secure it for use. Found this replacement part and it works wonders!

This was an affordable replacement part for my 12 year old Dyson Animal vac. I give this a 4 star rating only because the past where the hose attaches to this handle is an incredibly tight fit, and more disappointingly DOES NOT swivel (rotate) enough so you're able to slide under furniture without rotating your hand. This means the hose isn't able to rotate 90 degrees or so, so when you slide under furniture pushing forward and keeping the brush flat on the floor.

Not a perfect fit, but it works. It fits too tight, so I cannot take it out to clean, it will probably break

I have been looking for a replacement handle for my DC47. It’s been difficult to find. I chose this because the size is almost the same as my old broken one, not because of the description. I am very glad.

This did not fit my Dyson animal vacuum even remotely! I missed the return window so now I’m stuck with it

Overall this seems to work just as well as the original. The only complaint I have is that the connection at the hose is a little bit tighter than the original and is very hard to remove.

The diameter is not 100% as the original part. Anyhow, this part is not available at Dyson (at this moment)
