This company knows what they are doing for beach umbrellas. I purchased 2 of these while crossing my fingers (1st time I've bought beach umbrellas). I used an 1.5" x 16 auger bit for my hand drill to dig a hole and planted my umbrella. It was very sturdy. The wind picked up alot on the beach and everyone else's umbrellas were flopping inside out, whereas mine barely moved. Removal from sand was also a piece of cake. Quick twist and pull. Well engineered umbrellas. Couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

Designed and manufactured perfectly- worth the extra cost. Well tested in strong wind gust on Cape Cod this summer- this umbrella is flawless.

After trying all the other beach umbrellas I found the ultimate umbrella. My wife and I were concerned about the cheaper umbrella turning inside out and flying down the beach and possibly hurting someone, when I seen how well the rental umbrellas held up I knew that we needed to get the same style, money well spent since we go to the beach every weekend

The media could not be loaded.  Love this umbrella. On a beautiful but windy day at the Jersey shore I was 1 of the few people able to keep umbrella up. So nice to not have to worry about it blowing away. Also large shade coverage. 3 of us fit comfortably in the shade. My 15yo was able to carry it onto the beach.
