I wanted a cheap sturdy mic that i didn't have to keep close to my face. it works brilliant 2 to 3 feet away from my face. some mics you need to keep them at your mouth, you dont with this.. the base is very sturdy and wont fall over. its easy to adjust. seems very good quality for the money. exceeded expectations.

I've got to say I gave up hope for these fat mic types with a gauze on them to work on my (Windows 7) computer. Non of them seem to pick up any sound on my computer. Upon reading the positive reviews I thought I'd try this one. On plugging it in it was ready to go in 4seconds. Then I clicked on the pre-loaded Audacity sound recording software (free to download) and pressed the record button. I was about 2 feet away from the mic. What can I say? Who needs expensive Cubase or PreTool sound recording software. For the first time (on my computer at least) the recording came out crystal clear. For me this 15 quid microphone, hands down, beats any of the other more posh more expensive ones (which often do not work!!!). I found this Cyber Acoustics mic to be brilliant. Thank you.

Nice and heavy, feels well built. But there is a low level background hiss all the time; it's very quiet, but once you've noticed it you can't un-hear it.

I wanted to get this microphone as my computer built in microphone is useless and is too low, so I found this item and it was just what I needed. It`s quite dinky and very sturdy and it works brilliantly, it does not need much setting up and for podcasts and Youtube videos etc it works a treat, I just love this little microphone it is well worth the money!!

I tries loads of microphones to make calls on my mac mini. The directionless ones picked up the speaker sound (causing feedback). Bluetooth earpieces are a faff to put in and out, charge and connect. This mic, tho, sits under the display and just works perfectly.

I got this highly-adjustable microphone because my expensive Razer Seiren, which is supposed to be cardioid, kept picking up my keyboard typing noises. This mic is better on that front as it's very adjustable.I love the stand which means you don't need to clip it to anything, small footprint that takes up minimal desk space (about 5cm sideways, 10cm front to back). The tilt is easily changed, both the angle up/down and sideways so I can point it upwards just at myself (its pickup range from side to side is decent i.e. beyond just my face! you can have two people talking and both are heard). On-off switch at the back with blue indicator light when it's on.What's more, people I videoconference with say the sound quality is better than with my Razer Seiren! Which has gone into storage now I have this excellent little mic.

I installed this mic and recorded a few videos... I observed that background noise was also getting captured. I tested later at mictests.com and compared quality of this mic with mic that comes with my laptop. My laptop scored better.But didn't want to take the pain of replacing so just sticking to it.If you are looking at really good ones, find other product

Great value for money, for some reason my laptop in built microphone is rubbish but this external one is perfectJust a shame the mute button has a mind of its own.

Es un microfono muy funcional para mi; lo uso para grabar clases y para clases en vivo por zoom.En el caso de la grabación lo hago con el programa gratuito OBS, el cual tiene filtros para la eliminación de ruido ambiental; al aplicar estos filtros logras eliminar el ruido del entorno, como el que se genera por ventiladores, ladridos de perros, el teclado, incluso personas hablando en la misma habitación.Para las clases por zoom simplemente en la configuración de audio seleccióna la eliminación de ruido.Con otros micrófonos y "headsets" que adquirí no lograba una eliminacIón de ruido como lo logré con este micrófono, sin duda una de las mejores inversiones para dar clases en línea. Mis alumnos me escuchan con claridad mientras que hablo con toda naturalidad sin necesidad de estar pegado al micrófono.No soy experto, pero lo recomiendo para clases en línea

ottimo microfono, suono chiaro, se ben posizionato non ha problemi di feedback, perfetto per videoconferenze, ma anche per dettatura con riconoscimento vocale. ovviamente si trovano microfoni più prestazionali, ma sicuramente non in questa fascia di prezzo, dove questo microfono per me è sicuramente fra i primi, se non primo in assoluto.

Like many people, I find myself in lots of Zoom calls lately. My laptop microphone worked, but the sound quality is not very good. This device has much better quality.The device is actually a lot heavier than I thought it would be. The base is sturdy and not easy to tip over at all. You can adjust the angle as well.Button on top lets you mute it. When it's blue - its on. When red, its not. Simple.I've used it with a Mac and Windows system. Works fine on both.
