Nutrition Needs Updated Though
This may be my new pre-workout snack. I am pretty picky when it comes to different bars. I love them, but they have to taste good. I actually have an uncrustable before my workouts for some added energy since I love peanut butter and jelly. This is about to replace that or be added into my rotation. This reminds me a no-bake cookie at first. It is soft and chewy and moist. You get the initial peanut butter flavoring and then a kick of the strawberry jelly. I love that the jelly is strawberry as well as layered in between the bar so you are getting some in every bite. The bar is not chalky in any way and has not odd aftertaste. It is heavier in calories, but still great for on the go. It also has 8 grams of protein which I absolutely love!I want to try more flavors and have already ordered a whole box since we all love them.My only issue is that I am not sure how many calories it really has. The package, the box, and the website all show something different.

Yummy protein bars!
I never get sick of these bars which is saying a lot for me! They’re always soft and moist. I love both the peanut butter and jelly flavor and the chocolate peanut butter. I bought these because a Peloton instructor recommended them. I maybe wish they had more protein but it’s still a good amount for a vegan bar. My favorite vegan protein bar I’ve tried

Pricey, but tasty.
PROS:* It's a squished, PB&J* Fits in the pocket* Fine for on the go meal replacement, or mid-ride refuelCONS:* A little pricey for what it is.Take a multi-grain bread, and cut off the crusts.Fold each slice into quarters.Put on a thick layer of half-dried strawberry jam.Put on a thin layer of dense PeanutbutterSmash the whole thing flat, inside of a 3"x3" form.Wrap it in foil-plastic.It's really tasty, even after going through a box. Better than the high-protein one, and better than Soylent Food Bars, Stinger waffles, granola, etc. It's convenient, in that it doesn't break up in your pocket. It's easy to take a bite or two, and chew on it while rolling on the bike. It's the right number of calories for if you don't have time for breakfast, and just need something portable. However, you're paying a whole bunch for convenience. For home made, you pay 12.5 cents per ounce, and for BB, you pay 81 to 96 cents per ounce, or more for any of the other flavors. Compare to Larabar, which is 52 cents per ounce, though it's 3/4 of the protein and carbs.

BEST bars that taste like food
Love these! Used to be a Clif Bar aficionado, but quickly made the switch after my first Bonk Breaker bar. I train for Ironman distance events, so nutrition is key - that's why they're the official sponsor of Ironman (and USA Cycling) events. Here's my take:+ dense: they're small, but they're moist and pack in a lot more nutrition/flavor. you can easily get 100+ calories in 3 bites (half a bar). the small size makes lots of them easy to carry in a back pocket too.+ natural: they're organic, non-GMO and only have a few natural ingredients you can pronounce. read the label as they have a short shelf life of just a few months, meaning no preservatives.+ gluten free: no bloating, irritated stomach lining and they fill you up/taste like real food.Only con, is yes, the $3/bar retail price, but find the flavors you like and buy in bulk for ~$2+/bar.I personally love chocolate (and look forward to these on long training days hehe) and my favorites are the PB Choc Chip (taste like Reeses PB cups), Almond Cherry Chunk (high protein), and Espresso Chip when I need a kick of caffeine. I use PBJ (high protein) and fig when I want something subtly sweet, but not chocolate-y, especially on the hotter training days.Enjoy!

Energy, nutrients and my new lunch!
I have been doing intermittent fasting for over 8 years and constantly looking for healthy, filling and convenient snacks. Bonk Breaker has become my go-to daily meal if I can't get to lunch. I also love to have it right before my workout. It gives me so much energy! I would highly recommend the peanut butter and jelly!

I’m a fan
I use energy bars when I’m doing a long, but not too intense type of rides on my bike. The bonk bar has a little bit of protein in it and the flavors are generally very good particularly for their protein bars. I just can’t stand the taste of more popular bars like Cliff bars that are nothing but sweet and dry. The protein bars by bonk tend to be fairly moist, and they just seem to be more palatable. Oreo and coconut are my favorites.Interestingly - I don’t care for their non protein bars.

I find these bars inedible.
Since I liked the PBJ Bonk Breaker bar I figured that I would try the apple flavored one. When these bars arrived I opened the first one and it was chalky, super dry, crumbling, and had a weird chemical aftertaste. I threw that one out and tried a second bar which had the same exact issues. I just threw out 12 bars as when I tried to return them with Amazon I was told that this is a non-returnable or refundable item. Too bad there is not a 0 stars as this was a complete waste of money on this transaction.
