Excellent value and performance
My 10-year-old Sony wireless headphones died so I bought this kit attracted by the positive reviews and the price. They weigh about half that of the Sonys.Installed in 5 minutes but sound distorted with ‘crackles’ and ‘pops’ just like some other reviewers experienced. Long story short – not the fault of this kit, the TV’s headphone socket output level was too high for this wireless transmitter. Fortunately, my LG TV lets the user adjust the levels via a menu option, it was set at default 100%. Adjusted down to 25% and the sound is very good indeed, no noise, clear speech and surprisingly deep bass. There is plenty of volume control on the headphones and I have it set at about mid way.If your TV does not provide headphone level adjustment you could insert an attenuator like the “Pro Signal Headphone Volume Controller” on Amazon for less than £4.You will need 2xAAA batteries for the ‘phones but no batteries are required for the transmitter if you power it from a spare usb slot on your TV, otherwise 2 more of the same batteries are needed. So impressed, I bought a second kit for my wife.Recommended.

Not the greatest sound
The headset is small but still very comfy to have on the ears. The headset can only connect to the transmitter and not for example via an AUX cable. It does not come with batteries, and up to you if you want to use rechargeable or not. If you use rechargeable ones you can re-charge them via a cable that connects to the headset and transmitter. However, sound-wise the headset isn't that great, and that is what you buy a headset for after all. There's a constant static noise, which may be from surrounding electrical devices but where wont you have electrical devices in your household? I have tried other headsets of similar type that don't have this problem. In a few instances I have also had the issue of the connection dropping and then having to wait a couple of minutes for the headset to reconnect to the transmitter, despite being within 1 meter of the transmitter.

Poor sound quality
I accept the sound quality of these is never going to be amazing given they are designed for TV, but the sound quality is so bad, it needs to be mentioned. Constant background crackling and hissing. It seems if the audio coming from TV hits a certain frequency, the headphones can’t process it and it comes out as a fuzzy hiss or crackle. This is especially annoying with background music when you get “interference noise“ every time there is a “Beat” in the music playing. That would get annoying quickly right!? No amount of volume adjusting on the TV or the headphones helps either. I’ve gone back to £4.99 wired 3.5mm jack old school headphones and the sound is hugely improved. Not good enough, even for the seemingly reasonable price point. Avoid.

Ok for the price, but not the best
Got these because i work shifts and didn't want to disturb others when watching TV during the night, for the price they are fine, however you do get background noise on them i have tried both chanels on it and as many positions as the sender unit wire will allow but cannot eliminate it.They are usable and after a while tend not to notice the interference too much, though i will probably upgrade to a more expensive pair at a later date

Excellent reception.
I would recommend these headphones. I am no expert in sound quality and perhaps my hearing is not as good as it once was (OAP plus 20 years) but I could pick up background sounds I could not hear using a sound bar. The recharging unit could be tucked away behind the TV with no loss of reception. A bit difficult to locate the phones on the recharging unit but a very minor problem.

Great headphones for the price
Easy to set up, just connected it to the tv and it worked. Intially I used batteries until I discovered a USB on the settop box for the transmitter power. Its not clear if the headphones contain a battery as the pictures imply that it does, I've put some in for now. The headset also has a FM radio built in, which is great. The sound quality is OK, there is a slight lisp sound in the silent periods. There very light and comfortable . It replaces my old bit of kit which died, with a few extra features.

Peace and quite for my mum
Bought this for my dad when he's on his exercise bike so my mum doesn't have to listen to Judge Judy full blast which he watches every day. Easy to set up and now theres peace and quite in the house hold.
