Never had a connection problem.
Used with my ipad pro 2018 and various bits of kit.Update! So, I would like to apologise to anyone who read the paragraph below and did not buy this. They DO work with a TRS adapter. So you can use them with a Launchpad or your Uno synth or whatever. Again, my apologies. They definitely do work with an adapter between them and a TRS midi port.WRONG > The only thing I will say is that it won't connect via a cable. It has to be plugged straight into the port for it to work. So if you want to use it with a TRS midi port then you will need to find something else. < WRONG

Cheap but good.
I bought a CME widi dongle to be able to control my iPad from my keyboard, but every now and then it would disconnect and cause issues when playing live. Looking for a reliable option I was going to try the Yamaha version, but then came across this, and thought I would give it a try as it was cheap. I have now been using this live for over a month now and have not had a single issue with it. Well worth checking out.

Didn't work for me
I was able to get this connected in Stage Traxx 3 but it just would not receive MIDI messages. Returned and bought a Roland bluetooth midi adapter which works flawlessly. Might very well work for MIDI send but MIDI receive was a no go.

Works great
I have only tested this connecting to my ipsd with garage band and it works great. I use this with FlowKey and garage band runs in the background. I have not tried bluetooth midi to my PC yet but I expect it should work. Just plug and play. It just works!

Good job
Works really well as a MIDI out adapter with a good week fitting din plug. Others have proven to fit too loosely.

I thought this product might be troublesome, but it has worked with all of my apps (IOS) first time.

Limited compatibility
Couldn’t find any midi device that would provide the power supply for this.Very limited use as there is no option for an external power supply

Praktisch und geht gut
Prima ohne hörbare Latenz und auch ohne Kabel Gewirr- Tut was es soll- MIDI OUT vom Klavier als MIDI IN für iPad - funktioniert mit Korg Module Pro - wird übrigens nicht als Bluetooth Gerät angezeigt - geht aber in der App trotzdem
