The Incredibles [Blu-ray]

Great to have all the 'extras' on this US version
Bought this recently after reading all the reviews concerning the difference between the UK and US versions and finding quite a lot of extras were missing in the UK version. I have loved this film since it first came out and already had the DVD but wanted the better picture and sound quality that you get from a blu-ray disc.Just a little warning though, the DVD that comes with this US version 4-disc set (DVD in the NTSC format, 2 x blu-ray discs, the film and extras and a digital copy on disc) is that the NTSC format DVD may not play on UK machines, or if it does, the picture may not be great. The blu-ray discs work fine and that is the reason I bought this set in the first place, so I have no problem that the DVD doesn't work in my machine. The only problem I had with the order is that Royal Mail insisted I pay £12.51 before they would deliver it. Apparently they sent it from Germany, according to the return address label so I had to pay £4.51 VAT and an £8 handling fee! It made the order rather expensive in the end, about £38!6/9/12 This is an update to the above review. I contacted the sellers and after proving how much I had to pay for VAT and the handling charge, they kindly refunded me the full amount of £12.51. So if you have the same problem with customs and the PO, do as I did.I bought mine from 'All Your Music' and I would highly recommend this seller.

Great film
A great film that really takes the whats-it out of the ninteen-sixties Bond movies crossed with a gentle jab at the super hero flicks too. Sometimes a little dark for those of a very tender age, but a brilliant movie with my favourite character being Edna! Too long since it was made to have to wait for a follow up.

One of the best films in the game
Here is another example of Pixar's mastery of popular animation. For those of you looking for the classic children movie, call off the search. These Incredibles claim to be an authentic family of superheroes. I believe them.

Good family fun.
Very Bond-influenced, in a good way. My son really enjoyed it and sat through the whole film without too much fidgeting. It is getting on a bit now so the animation style shows it’s age a bit but generally speaking it still holds up well.

Don't underestimate a six year old.
I purchased this for my 6 yr old Grandson to watch, he seems to like it so much that he, unknown to me, repeated the purchasing process and now we have The Incredibles Two movie as well.

Great family film!
Great film, good for kids and also parents! Look out for the fact its set in the 60s, wouldn't have known unless someone had told me! Awesome cinematography reminiscent of bond & nothing too scary (our 5yr old loves it!)
