The 19:1 ratio is super smooth and these stay in tune very well. I like the back knobs - easy to tighten the string and they hold well. String changes are so much easier. There are also three different post heights and these are staggered perfectly so you can remove the string trees and have less friction points on the strings. To my knowledge this may be the only locking replacement tuners that are a direct fit for the Tele Deluxe. Excellent quality and they look great!

I always wanted to replace those hoakey 'f' tuners. Was unable to find drop in upgrade tuners, until these great Klusons. My 2012 mim '72 Deluxe Telecaster required zero modification. Even the new bushings pushed right in without reaming. This is a quality upgrade that many many players will want. These are very high quality and look great. These fit my MIM thinline tele with no other work necessary. So far they are excellent.

These Kluson locking tuners are a huge improvement over the original Fender tuners on my ‘78 Telecaster Custom. Very easy and clean swap out since they match the original hole pattern. I’ve left the string retainers on for now only because I don’t want empty screw holes on the front of the headstock. I’m extremely happy and the delivery was fast and the price was good! Flawless!
