I was really struggling to get wi-Fi signal to work in some spots in the. Despite having spent quite a bit on a decent Netgear Nighthawk router, there are spots in the house that just don’t get a decent signal and sometimes I even turn off my Wifi on my smartphone and use my 4G instead. Now that is not a great solution given the pricey data plans.The Rock Space extender does what it says in the tin. Well... in the box. The setup is extremely straight forward, specially if your main router supports WPS.If you are trying to extend your Wifi to the garden or outside garage, this device can also help as long as you maintain a good distance between the main rooter and this device. Of course it depends on your property, interferences so what I am giving you here is an example, of what worked and what didn’t work for me.Up to 10m distance between my router and the extender: Worked great inside the house and strengthened my connection in the garden but only slightlyBeyond 10m distance between my router and the extender: Extender showed intermittent red light signal and smartphone connection started to drop occasionally.So there is definitely a sweet spot for this usage. Overall pretty happy with this and even some of my home appliances are working better now connecting with this instead of my main router.

Owned this since May 2021. Intially it was ok bearing in mind we live in a modern Bungalow and the Router is in the hall.Over a period of months it had to keep being reset continually causing drop outs. Often times it would take me 45 mins to get connection of a morning something I had never experienced before.The other concern was how warm it was getting. This resulted in me having to unplug it for 30 mins. At one point I had to resort to using a fan against it. Unfortunately I no longer have the original box for it as it may possibly just have been a faulty one. However I am very dissapointed but concerned at how hot it gets. Not a product I would recommend and certainly not leave it plugged overnight..FURTHER TO MY INITIAL REVIEWI have been subsequently been contacted by the company who were very concerned at my experience with this product. They took into account the issue I highlighted .They are in the process of resolving the matter thankfully. It is very gratifying when a company act swiftly when a customer encounters a problem . Item arrived next day, although much later than stated time.Setup was very easy, just pressed the WPS button on router and away it wentHOWEVER !!Even with the extender right next to my router the signal light NEVER stays constantly blue.It does turn blue for anywhere from 15 seconds to a minute then turns red for ten or so seconds then back to blue.The instructions say to place the repeater mid way between the router and the dead spot you have for net connection, however the repeater was next to my router and never has a constantly blue light.Move it away and the light stays blue far less than it did.Perhaps technical support could help ?

I've tried out three "double unit" extenders that are supposed to use the mains wiring of a house to extend the wifi, but in my experience the signal is often poor and intermittent. This single unit is a "repeater" - it simply picks up the existing wifi near the edge of signal and becomes another transmitter! At last ... strong WiFi in the summer house!!

If i could find its box i would have sent this back, but a never ending stream of "Could not obtain an ip Address" has now made it target practice. Its ability to transmit a signal is ok but its not able to see my router even when its a couple of feet away. £25 down the drain.

WOW, get this and it will make a difference. It picked up 3 different speeds, even 5g where we had none. It worked for the constant buffering. We gave up SKY TV and we only stream now.

This is a very good product and very practical product

To be honest, I don't like writting bad reviews but this repeater is pretty bad. Its literally almost on top of the router and it keeps dropping out. I live in a new house with plaster board walls and its not even able to penetrate those. Not happy with this at all and would not buy again sorry.
