I bought this for my friend for Christmas and used it and loved it so much I bought another one for my child. The ink is nice and the pen is great quality. I dipped the pen one time and it wrote for ever without having to redip. Highly recommended.

This beautiful glass pen came in a gorgeous box, nestled in a foam core, along with a glass piece to rest the pen on, and a bottle of blue ink, that has some iridescence to it. The iridescence settles quickly, and is only noticeable if you hold what you’ve written up to the light at the right angle, but I don’t care about that! I. LOVE. This. Pen! It’s absolutely gorgeous and writes nicely.I’m working on teaching myself calligraphy, but decided that this pen and ink are worthy of my daily journaling, and I can hardly wait until tomorrow so that I can use it.The ink stays a long, long time in the ink channels and, as long as I continue to twist the pen so that the ink can flow from all the channels, it writes for a VERY long time without having to dip it again.If I want more sparkle to my ink, I can kind of mix up the ink with the pen, instead of putting the rubber stopper back in, taking it back out, and all that happens with that.It’s glass, folks, so keep that in mind and keep the box for storage so no mishaps occur with it rolling off the desk, or a mischievous kitty/animal.The ink I got is a lovely blue color - I read that the color isn’t guaranteed; it’s a crapshoot. I may not think it’s so beautiful in the light of day (my package came after dark) but I’m sure it’ll be fine for journal writing and on whatever other crafts I decide to us it. I’m thrilled with my purchase.

This pen is beautiful, it's well packaged, the bottle has a stopper to prevent leakage, and it came unbroken. This pen works, but it doesn't work with all inks. There is also no way to get a varying line and the line is very thin. Mine came with blue ink which is a beautiful shade of blue. I tried Metallic acrylic ink which was way too thick to flow. I watered it down and it still didn't work. I also tried watercolor ink which also didn't work because it's too thin. I used black acrylic ink which worked the best. It worked actually better than the ink it came with. I could write out several lines before I had to redip the pen. If you swish the pen on water, most of the ink comes off but not all. When I was done using it I used dish soap and water to clean it and a toothbrush. The toothbrush was able to get any left over ink off the tip. I may go out and try some other acrylic ink colors but I'm honestly not sure if I'll use this pen a lot. I wanted it for art but the line is a very fine line. Great for writing. If your an artist I was able to do some great things likes which would be awesome for line art if you need a fine line.

I love using this pen for linework on art. I think it's incredibly beautiful and the ink that comes with it is no different. It produces satifying, simple lines. It's incredibly easy to clean the ink off after you're done, you just need to use some water and a paper towel. All in all, a good pen.

A beautiful pen! So pretty and delicate.This is my first glass pen so I have no comparison to other glass pens. But, It has a good flow and it glides on the paper well when you have a good wet ink. Dryer inks don’t flow as well on this pen. It is Still a very good pen!

Fun new toy I just bought more colors

Purchased these as end-of-year recognition awards. The colors sparkle, the ink is in good shape and they all arrived safely!

The ink flows easily once the pen is dipped. My frustration comes with the fact the glitter settles quickly to the bottom of the jar so each time the pen is dipped, the ink needs to be shaken. The rubber stopper must be replaced before shaking. Do NIT simply put the lid on and shake. It is not a tight seal and ink will be wasted. The colors are beautiful and the ink flows easily.
