It keeps her food hot until it's lunch time.Quick tip: serve your kids lunch in a plate and put it in the microwave for about 3 minutes or on the stove until it reaches a super hot temparature. No matter how hot it is by the time they eat it will be perfect for them to eat not super hot.

Works as advertised if you use it correctly. Pour steaming hot water for about 15 minutes before use and the food will stay hot for several hours.
