So far this works great, no issues installing, feels secure. My adult special needs daughter needed assistance getting in and out of the shower and these did the trick. I am always there to help her so I feel good about them just being suctioned to the wall. No drilling into the shower walls, easily able to remove them for cleaning. 3 suction cups. Get these.

The grab bars work great and give stability when getting in and out of the shower. They are sturdy and suction is tight. Feel so much safer since installing them

The two pack was a great deal. I installed one for my mom in her shower and then the other one outside her apartment door to help her get up and down the steep step at the doorway. Do not push the handle hard onto the surface. You will not be able to push the buttons down. Follow the easy instructions they send. (Note: the one I put by the front door was on a sturdy double pane window JFYI. I did not install it on the outside wall or doorframe. It may work on those types of surfaces. I just wanted to make sure to point this out).She feels very confident grabbing hold of the handle. She does not need to put all of her weight on it but it seems strong enough for her balance needs.

It's probably obvious to most people but until you get them home you don't realize that if these suction cups don't exactly line up on a perfectly flat surface of your shower wall, they will not stick and they will be dangerous to use.I have a shower and tub insert with faux grout lines, and because of those indentations, the suction cups are too close together to miss one of those lines. This would be true if you had actual grout lines too.In the end we were able to get one handle installed with a suction cup on two square faux tiles and once we did, they were practically unmovable.Great product, excellent suction, just make sure you have enough flat surfaces without grout lines to install them on.UPDATE: even installing on flat tiles, these eventually fall off. My husband put them on again and tugged and they seemed strong but later on we were in another room and heard something fall and it was the handle falling off the wall again. So I think you cannot have even the right size tiles for these handles, they will absolutely not stay.

I have had other shower, grab bars that fell off after a few days, or wouldn’t maintain their stick at all. These were beyond easy to place, remove, and then replace to get them exactly right. They have a powerful section, and even with my applying a great amount of weight and pulling on them, they were not coming off. they have been on for a week and are still as strong as the day I placed them. I highly recommend these!

I was hesitant about using and trusting these but three weeks of use and I’ve had zero problems.I broke my leg so I bought this to put in my shower. It stuck right to my large format porcelain tile wall and has supported my 230 pounds of body weight. Bar hasn’t moved or failed on me.Size is great for one hand at a time, package has two so you can space them out as needed.

Many reviews say that the grab bars do not stick well to 4 inch tiles. This is because the 4 inch tiles that I have are not flat and smooth, but have a wavy surface. This allows air to enter under the suction cups and they fall off. I solved the problem by applying petroleum jelly or Vaseline under the outer edges of the suction cups. The grab bars have been on my bathtub 4 inch tile wall for 2 weeks and are still firmly attached. I also learned that we should not press the grab bars really hard against the surface because it makes locking the tabs impossible. Back off on the pressure and the locking tabs are easy to push down. I ordered 2 packages, one for my main bath and one for my guest bathroom and they are working just fine. I plan on ordering another set for my RV. These are just what an 81 year old fart needs.
