This shoe is a disappointment to me as someone that's worn the Dropline Leather for a few years now and found it one of the most comfortable and supportive shoes I've ever worn.This is like the Leather's neglected sibling. Instead of the supportive insole the Leather has, this has a low-grade Ortholite insole that's flat, unsupportive and not very cushioned. That, coupled with a splashier exterior and lacing design, means the shoe is not as comfortable, nor supportive in more active use in terms of stability.I found I felt more impact through the midsole even in just simple vigorous walking as a result and the shoe rolled too easily laterally.

These shoes run very narrow. Suggest upsizing or going with different style if your foot is a little wider. Love the style and look, but it’s gonna take a bit of break-in to stretch them out.
