Fits cottage made hammocks...
I just bought this since Hammock Gear doesn't make a winter cover for their zippered bug net hammock and it fits perfectly. The toggles on the cover line up with the beastie D rings on the HG hammock almost perfectly and the length is exact. There is some difference in length between the toggles on the cover and the Beastie D's on one end of the hammock once you get the others connected, but it was easily held together with a soft shackle on each side. You will need to use the hammocks pull outs to open the cover up and keep it off of your face, but that's the same with any cover. I honestly didn't think it would fit but for $25 I had to try. Check out my video review at Chesapeake Hammock and Outdoors @ YouTube. So far this is the ONLY universal top cover on the market and it definitely seems like a winner. I absolutely recommend this product. ~ Chesapeake

A good add-on for your Ridge Outdoor Gear Pinnacle hammock
This winter cover is made of the same material as the body of the hammock (aside from the ends and end vents which are made of the same mesh as the Pinnacle bugnet). The light weight material does block some of the breeze and trap some warmth but the claimed 10-20⁰F additional warmth is a stretch. By my measurement (Kestrel Drop D2) and comfort assessment, this only adds about 10⁰F at best. With the original daisy chain suspension, this is fairly easy to add, slipping over the continuous loop and carabiner. If you upgrade to a suspension that is not quick release (cinch buckles, for example). You need to fully detach the hammock from the suspension before adding the winter cover. The toggle system for adding it is a bit fiddly but works well enough, however, only having four toggles per side means it can gap or flap in the breeze a bit if it's windy. Since the toggle attachment points are on the body of the hammock and not the bugnet, the zipper travel and the placement of the toggles are in direct conflict. You have both a limited range of zipper travel (without messing with the aforementioned fiddly toggles) but still have a wide, middle section of the cover that is hanging without being toggled down.

Great hammock cover
I’ve purchased the cover to see whether it’ll allow for some heat retention on colder nights on my Ridge hammock as it is made specifically for it. The construction is simple, light weight and stitching looks good. Looks like the same material as the hammock. I’ve tested it out in my backyard and it help out quite nice. I’m looking forward to testing it in colder climates. More updates to follow.

Great winter cover
Bought this for my chameleon hammock. The toggles don’t line up perfectly bc they aren’t designed for this hammock but easily fixable with a few minor adjustments. Very high quality and does exactly what it is supposed to do for an unbeatable price. Highly recommend.
