This helmet is good quality and fits perfect

Great for youngest riders
Make sure to measure your child’s head and match it up to the cm size range. My 2 year old has a smaller head and the XS was the right fit. This is one of the smallest helmets available. I liked that it is one piece and you can adjust the inner headband from the back of the helmet easily (twist knob to tighten). My child has no complaints about wearing it and often keeps it on to continue playing even off the bike.

Cute and safe! I enjoy the adjustable dial so I can adjust helmet size as my kid gets older.

...had to send back. However, I feel Giro makes the best helmets around.

Double check sizing
We have used this Giro Mips Scamp helmet before, the sizing is incorrect for this “year” of helmet. The website states giro scamp XS is 47-51cm, whereas the helmet we received states XS is 45-49cm. Just double check what year you are buying, this “flower land” Is 2020. Otherwise light weight and seems right size for 4.5 year olds. We also tried Little Nutty, but the appropriate circumference helmet was too large and bulky for use, plus it couldn’t be tightened to stop sliding without snagging lots of hair. I have twin girls with lots of hair I’m not sure how other young children wear the Little Nutty just because of the hair catching in the tightening mechanism alone. Maybe we had a defective year/model but we bought 2 of the same helmet and both had problems. Seemed quality otherwise. We reordered the Giro Mips Scamp in S for 4.5yo with 50cm head circumference.

Amazing fit
This helmet fits my 5 year old so well. Her old one always slipped, this one stays put, and the materials feel like great quality. It covers the back of the head and not just the top. I’m glad we got this one and would recommend it to others.

Safe, lightweight helmet for my 3-year old
I had a nutcase helmet for my toddler, but it was somewhat heavy, and the magnetic clip broke after a few months. I purchased this helmet because it has similar safety specs, and I’m glad I gave it a try. It’s much lighter than the nutcase, so my daughter can comfortably wear it for longer periods.

Awesome find
I had been looking for this helmet for a while and finally found it on Amazon at a reasonable price.....I am glad I found it here which saved me the pain of importing and dealing with Indian customs
