I bought this candle gift set to uplift a friend who is in a somewhat depressive state at present. She, like myself believe in aromatherapy for renewing the spirits mind, body and soul. After reading all of the 5 star reviews, I knew that these 100% beautiful looking soy candles were the ones to uplift anyone's downs. I was ecstatic when they were delivered, and I checked the package to be sure that everything was as described before I presented it to my friend. Well, I could smell a wonderful scent before actually opening the box. To my dismay, two of the candle tin tops were loose and not properly fitted for it's container, which left an opening. Then, the Vanilla scented one does not open at all. I was so upset. I contacted Anjou immediately via email, and let me tell you, their customer support team are the absolute BEST!!! Not only was their reply swift and professional, but very concerning and comforting. After submitting my order information for verification, their support care person (Anita) informed me of a replacement free of any additional charge. Talk about AWESOME! I've been kept up to date on approximated arrival of my replacement candle, and the reassurance that they truly value their customers. I will follow up once I receive the package. This company, their FANTASTIC CANDLES, and their Customer Support Team are the ABSOLUTE BEST! As mentioned previously, I had issues with a couple of the candle(s) tins. One of the tops did not fit accurately, while the vanilla scented one couldn't be opened at all. Well, Annoys wonderful &caring customer support team replied immediately to my issues and promised a replacement while keeping me apprised all the way through. Yes, I received a brand new replacement set within days. I thought they were only going to replace the Vanilla one, but they sent a FULL NEW SET OF 4. Upon inspecting again before gifting it to my neighbor/friend, I found them all PERFECT! The Vanilla scented one smells AMAZING, as well as the rest. I shared in the pleasurable experience of it's lit aroma with my neighbor. So calming and pleasant it was. I will be purchasing a set just for me soon. These candles are really beautiful! I love the containers. These would make such a wonderful gift for someone, but I loved these so much that I decided to keep them for myself.:) If I ever find out that a friend/family member loves candles, though, I would definitely repurchase these as a gift. The packaging is so beautiful that you wouldn't even need to wrap it. I do wish that the scent was a little more vibrant, but they do smell really good. Please keep making such wonderful products!

These candles are subtly fragrant and natural smelling, not chemical, plus the tins are lovely and they come in a sweet box so would make a very nice hostess gift. My only quibbles are that they are somewhat petite, so not the looongest burn time, and the scent is not the most powerful--but for those sensitive to fragrance that is plus!

I bought these because the description says they’re made with essential oils. They arrived (in very cute tins) and my husband immediately lit one. The smell was immediately too strong, and the box lists fragrance as the ingredient for scent. If you’re looking for a traditionally scented candle, you’ll probably like these. I can’t handle most synthetic fragrances, so I returned these, disappointed.

I love this candle set. I purchased one for myself and liked it so much that I purchased one for my mom and sister. I love that they came in tin holders and the different variety of scents. It was all packaged nicely in this box for gift giving. I burned the vanilla tin in my sons bathroom all day and it smelled amazing. Will purchase again.

It smell so good i have never imagined that this candles are so awesome .The scent is so refreshing i love it on my bath tub side on the living room and on my bedroom. Everywhere smells the fragrance different from the other.The packaging is very niceAnd yes this is very giftable

Update: Wow, while I was not the biggest fan of the scents, but the company reached out and apologized. I’m increasing my review stars from 3 to 5, because they went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy. With scents it’s always hard especially since everyone is different, but they are beautiful and they are packaged perfectly if you are giving a gift. Thank you again Alice you worked hard to ensure that I am happy.

Lovely little gift set of candles! They scents are pleasant. My favorite among them is the Jasmine. The box is heavy duty and covered in a William Morris-like print. The tins are aesthetically pleasing. The best thing about them is the fact they are made with essential oils instead of chemical laden scents. One thing of note: the smells are very robust so if you have sensitivity to stronger smells this might not be the set for you.

È stato in regalo, non ho avuto modo di provarle! Ma posso garantire che aperta la scatola si sentiva in profumo buonissimo! Il regalo è piaciuto molto, e cmq il brand è stato una garanzia! mi aspettavo delle candele un po' più grandi! Diciamo che l'immagine non corrisponde proprio alla realtà a livello di dimensioni. Non sono economiche, ma magari più avanti vi saprò dire se vale la pena l'investimento!

Molto carine, me le aspettavo più grandi, per ora ne ho accesa solo una quella alla vaniglia, personalmente non mi piace il profumo di vaniglia , preferisco i fioriti, vi sono lavanda, gelsomino e rosa! Cmq. il profumo si sente, eccome!!
