Lovely cord to work with. True colour, made bags for Christmas presents.

Lots of frayed bits through out the entire roll.

I used this thread for macrame. It was really easy to use, quite firm and a lovely colour. One thing I will say is it isn’t very soft if you are looking for a more cottony feeling cord and it’s also much harder work to fray thank other cords due to the braid on it. I spent as long fraying the ends as I did making all of the knots. But I was happy with the end result.

The yarn was not of an amazing quality. Lots of it were twisted and crooked. It’s alright, but it doesn’t make a professional product.

I like this rope stuff as it smells like my nan. You know, like the musky kind of scent. I also like that it qives me a quiz as soon as i get it, as i have to untangle the rope and wound it into another ball. It takes me about 2 hours because its like spaghetti! I can reminisce while im doing this, as i keep smelling the smell!

Myself and my daughter like DIY and I decide to try macra-weave again and teach her as well, as it is fun to do. The rope is quite thick and its 90 m length will allow us to do quite a few projects. As we already have macrame plant hangers in our back garden, adding few more will be the firs DIY project. The cord is natural eco friendly and except for macrame I can very easily find many other uses around the house as the cord is quite strong. Overall a good buy.
