best drywall brand
The Marshalltown blades had the right amount of strength to keep a smooth flat finish going when applying compound. So many others are too weak and increase the time involved in getting a flat finish.

Rust magnet
I would give 0 stars if possible. Rusted on first use.

Marshalltown for me!
The best. I'm not a professional drywall taper by any means, just a DIYer. I had purchased longer Marshalltown knifes and really liked they worked and felt in my hand.but still struggled along using another 4" brand from the "Big Store". It was way too stiff and no matter how diligent I was in drying after cleanup, it would develop surface rust almost instantly This knife is much more flexible, cleans up great and makes mud application much easier for me. Big price difference but the Marshalltown quality is worth it.

Love Product; Hate Sticky Labels that are horrible to remove
Love the products but hate the sticky labels the company uses on all their blades that require razor blade, fine steel wool, soaking and a whole lot of "elbow grease" to remove in order to use the product. If not Stainless steel blades, the finish comes off when you get the label off.

RUSTS!
I thought this was stainless. IT'S NOT! And will rust with any moisture. The rust in the pics are after I cleaned and dryed it and the slightest moisture was left to air dry. This type of tool should only be made of stainless in my opinion. I HIGHLY recommend not purchasing this paper weight. Also, the knife is too stiff. The only good thing I can say is the handle is comfortable.I'd be hard pressed to purchase another Marshalltown product. I'll try to sand off the rust if I try to use this again. Very dissatisfied!

The new ones are rubbish
The old Marshalltown filling blades are the best ones, These ones with the rubber handles, They are quite hard to come by now. My first one has lasted me 6 years and is still going strong but I've bought 2 more for future use. Decent

Price
As a concrete finisher Marshalltown trowels are the best but Home Depot has them cheaper than Amazon at 8.99$
