Works as advertised
I replaced a couple cheap angle brackets that they guys who built my dock used to attach it to poles to the shore. Using matching dock brackets with plates on the back side. The pins and the brackets are heavy duty enough to assure me that the floating dock is securely attached to shore now

You will need 1/2 inch galvanized carriage bolts to install.
