This is a will fit item. It is not a Holmes filter and will not allow the meter to operate correctly. Assuming the meter is accurate, the humidifer is not as effective with this filter installed.It is better than nothing.

I found these Crucial Air Wicking filters to replace my honeywell filters for my humidifier. The wick length and height are close to the original, but not quite as thick as the OEM filter. The thickness obviously allows it hold and wick away more moisture, so these filters, while a little bit less expensive aren't as effective. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend these as a reliable replacement for my OEM Honeywell filter. I'd be better off spending a few dollars more to save more in the long run.I hope the manufacturer sees this review and considers re-working the dimensions for a proper filter. There are some things in life you can't cheap out on, and apparently, humidifier filters is on that list.I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for product testing and a fair and unbiased review.
