Stopped working for a while then came back?
The design is super cute even if it is klunky. I worry about scratching it when wearing it as a keyfob. Its very big and often gets caught on things as I go about my day to day. It stopped working for a week even after reinstalling POGO and unpairing, clearing the data, and resetting several times, then mysteriously started working again. I have it on continuously and I have to change the batteries about once every 2 weeks. It does work and I like that I dont have to press any buttons or hear alerts.

Best brand autocatcher
One of the best autocatcher brands out right now, works great, battery life is exceptionally long for running on 2 AAAs

Just doesn't stay connected.
I wanted to like this, I really did. I even thought the first unit might be faulty (return/replacement/refund was very easy—thankfully) so switched it out for a second. But unless I managed to get 2 duds in a row, I just couldn't get this to stay connected to my (slightly older) iPhone. It was generally okay if I was on wi-fi, but as soon as I walked anywhere I would lose connection continuously. On a 15 minute walk I probably had to reconnect 10 times. Utterly pointless. I also found that it was very very slow to identify a "Pokemon in range", something that had originally steered me towards this catcher over other brands. On the plus side, it does have amazing battery life. I didn't have to recharge the two AAAs I invested on the two unites at any point. Such a shame.

Save yourself the $$$ and get the Go-Tcha instead
I lost my Go-tcha after taking a year long break from Pokémon Go. I saw this when I was looking to buy a replacement and based on the reviews, thought I was buying a superior product. If I’m just sitting at home, then I guess this product is okay. The catching is slow but does the job. When driving, it’s pretty much useless which is what I bought it for. If it attempts to catch a Pokémon, even while going very slow, it will just abandoned the attempt (not sure if it consumed a pokeball in the process), does’t show the attempt in the journal and tries to catch a closer Pokémon. Same goes for Pokestops. It will attempt to and then abandoned the action to try to catch a nearby Pokémon instead. I know I’m going slow enough because I can manually spin them.I thought maybe it was a change to the game until I found my Go-tcha. It connected immediately after all of this time and functioned exactly the same as it did a year ago and yet cost half the price of this.Additionally, the Catchamon is much larger than I had expected. The bulkiness makes it awkward to carry vs the Go-tcha. I’ll admit, this did make it harder to lose so that’s a plus I guess.Lastly, I thought using batteries would be superior as I found having to constantly charge the Go-tcha to be annoying because I seemed to never have the charger with me. Unfortunately, the Catchamon eats through batteries and had to replace them in less than a month which significantly increases the cost of this device. I use a Bluetooth mouse for my PC for 8 hours a day and I have only needed to replace the batteries once or twice a year so I was surprised at how quickly this thing went through them. I ended up just buying a 3 pack of chargers for my Go-tcha for $7 so I’ll always have a charger with me.Overall, I’d recommend the original Go-tcha over this as not only is the performance superior but both the initial cost and upkeep costs are significantly less.

Love my pokemon egg
I have had the catchmon go for a while. Have had the same battery's in it the whole time. Have caught many pokemon with it. This thing is awesome and fun to use.

Works great but...
This only works if the game is open and per the instructions will disconnect after 15 minutes.

Helpful Tool for Trainers
I bought this about six months ago, and thus far it is serving it's purpose well. I bought it mainly for the auto-spin function for when I am driving (tends to only work under 35MPH, but sometimes it'll spin stops at higher speeds), or walking in an area that has a ton of pokéstops so I can focus on hand-catching while I keep moving. I occasionally enable the auto-catch function, but only when I am not really focusing on the game or need to free up some bag space. It only uses red poké balls, which is great for inventory control if you have expanded your bag space and have hundreds of great/ultra balls you'd rather be using. The catch rate is about 60% in my experience, and it has managed to catch me several shinies and a couple of hundos (you can't filter out the type of pokemon it catches, just pointing out you can get lucky!). It worked with my old Samsung A20 and is working well with my new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. I've been using the Amazon basics AAA batteries and they are lasting over a month even with hours of use each day. All in all, it's a helpful tool for any trainer.

Cute but meh for the price.
I like that it auto catches and spins and that I only need to reconnect through the app and not both app and device like the Gotcha. Only complaint is that is seems to be a bit slower in reaction time, ie recognizing a stop or Pokémon. It seems to only pick it up when the Pokémon actually spawns on screen or when I’m right under the poke stop before it’ll catch or spin so I don’t recommend this for when you’re driving. Catch rate is about the same as a gotcha. Battery life: I’ve used this daily (~2hrs) for the last month and still on the first set of batteries I’ve put in.

Keeps disconnecting
Worked well for around 2 weeks, the kept disconnecting. Returned. Bought a new one, same thing, worked well for a total of 3 hours, then keeps disconnecting after less than 10 minutes of use, and difficult to reconnect. Trouble shoot done by 3 people over time and no positive result.

Sync’d up very easily
I’ve been using this about 2 months and I find it works great. Just slip it in your pocket and it spins Poké stops while catching. My guess is the catch rate is about 25% so you need to understand it’s not going to catch everything. It will only use your red pokéballs. Works best when you are walking in an area with a lot of gyms/pokéstops. If you see something you want to catch, just tap on it before the Catchmon does and go ahead and use a great or ultra ball. Added a new dimension to the game for me. I recommend it

Its very cute and functional but it only uses pokeballs not ultra balls or great balls, i expected there to be more heafy for the price given it was so pricy and it keeps disconnecting every 10 minuetsEdit after less them a year of use its tottally broken!!
