Disappointed that this does not have a 3 prong receptacle. Just read all the raving reviews and purchased. Be aware this will not accept a plug with ground which is most plugs these days.

Easy way to add a two-prong outlet. I used this to plug in 4' LED shop lights in my basement that lacks power outlets.

I moved to a new house was worried abt the christmas decoration and was thinking of getting a new outlet on my stucco wall to get outdoor decoration. Until this flashed in my mind and on quick search found this. This one has an outlet on the side helps prevent the plug slip and also enables two outlet while keeping the bulb option on... what else you could have asked for?

installed adapter in an outside floodlight motion detector. I had to "cut" shielding in the floodlight as the "outlets" are quite low and were blocked by the shielding. Regardless, I am very pleased with the purchase. It works great as advertised.

I wanted to install outdoor lights on my balcony railing and did not have an outdoor outlet!! I bought the set of two and put one in each outdoor light. I just unscrewed the lightbulb a bit so I could get the beauty of the outdoor lighting. As you can see it really doesn’t hinder the use of your light or look ugly. Have a yard pole light that we decorate for Christmas. Light works on an electric eye, but outlet does not, so had to plug & unplug Christmas lights each day. This gadget is the perfect solution to screw in bulb, screw in gadget, then plug in Xmas lights. Now all goes on and off with electric eye!!!!!

Got these to steal power at my storage unit. They do not supply power, but do have a light bulb in there. So, unscrewed the bulb, plugged this in, and for a short second I had the power I needed. Found out from the storage facility that they designed their breakers to trip if people try to use things like this! Good item if you have the right application for it.
