A relaxing great read
I bought this book for someone special and they loved it so much they passed it on to a friend. Now, you can't get a better recommendation than that! The descriptive writing was said to be excellent and the story was interesting and it was an enjoyable, relaxing read. I was glad I chose this book and based my choice on the amazon rating and other peoples reviews. I feel the reviews on Amazon are accurate and I wanted to add my own! Great book, highly recommend, beautifully written will be buying the next one !

The Inn at Angel Island
I have read all of the books in the Cape Light series and was delighted to find a new book coming out by the same authors. I enjoyed this story and liked the fact that Cape Light and some characters were also mentioned. The story moved quickly and I read it in record time. I liked the descriptions of the Inn and the island. I am looking forward to the next book and hope it comes out soon.

The Inn at Angel Island (Novel)
The book is the first of a series, I hope. I found it interesting the way the author connected the Cape Light series, some of the characters and locations, with this new book. The Inn at Angel Island is a great beginning for a new series of books. The characters and actions of the people involved make for a very enjoyable 'sit by the fire on a windy, wet evening' type of story. The problems divorces bring are intertwined with the problems the children are encountering when the parents separate is well described and dealt with. Inheriting a large gift, an inn, brought a needed change in a stressed life of the heroin. I'm looking forward to the continuation of the series.

Nurturing read
This was a wonderful read: one I enjoyed while on the treadmill or at the end of a long day. It was my first Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer book and I have already bought a Cape Light book. The way the authors captured the beauty of the shoreline and nature found along the New England coast as well as the challenges faced by the characters made for a delightful story.

The Inn At Angel Island
The book really held my attention from the beginning to the end. I liked how the sister and brother were so involved in their own lives, that they didn't think they wanted any part of the Inn left to them, but as time went on the housekeeper ,in very gentle ways, was beginning to win them over. I felt like I was right there with them and would love to be able to live in a place like it. I like the little bit of romance in it also. I believe it is going to be a series (at least I hope so) because it left me wanting more and more of a conclusion.

The Inn at Angel Island
I really enjoyed this book and was pleased that it was the first of 3 in the Angel Island Novels. It takes place in the 21st century, addressing job security, divorce, child custody, rural opposed to city living, and romance interweaved throughout the story. I was thrilled to continue the characters lives in "The Wedding Promise" and then "A Wandering Heart". I hope there is at least one more in the series to complete the romance of the main character at the Inn.

love to read
Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer are great novelists. They write stories that relax, intrique, mystify, engulf, spiritually reward, and leave you yearning for the next one. They connect all the families from 1 book to the next series. This is a new series not from the Christmas books but it connects with the others. You don't have to have read the christmas series to enjoy this book. Once you start reading their books, you are hooked.
