Cheaply made piece of garbage.
I suggest saving your money and putting it toward a patio set that isn’t a total piece of garbage. As others have suggested in their reviews, this thing is difficult to put together. You’ll need a third or fourth hand to get the plastic tabs to line up between the back and seat as you slide these together. All the legs are warped, so it takes quite a bit of straining to get them to line up to the holes. No thought was given to whether you’ll have enough clearance to use the damn Allen wrench. Sloppy welds and bolts that are just barely long enough make using the washers on some holes impossible. Also the bolts are made of a material so soft that the head strips when you put about half the torque you would expect on it… so once that happens, there’s no second chance. After all that, the first time I sat on the chairs, it popped the plastic tabs out of place between the back and the seat. I put it together with no assistance, but a second set of hands would have helped, and some people simply wouldn’t have the strength to twist the warped pieces enough to line up the holes. It honestly shouldn’t require a team of people to put something this simple together, but it’s so poorly made it kind of does. They look ok when it’s all said and done, and they are moderately comfortable. However I suggest you avoid contacting the bottom lip with your calves because it is rough and sharp and it isn’t pleasant. For $180, I wouldn’t expect such a challenge putting this together and also wouldn’t expect to have to sand the damn chairs down to keep from injuring myself. The only reason I give it two stars is because once you fight through the build and the DIY safety modifications it’s not the worst thing I’ve ever sat on.I’d send them back but I have too much sweat equity in them now, and besides, enough of the hex bolt heads stripped I don’t think I could take them apart if I wanted too.

Set is better than the reviews
We love this set. Its obviously not an expensive set. It works for our little area of deck coming off of our pool. Cozy feel to it sitting out in the open. On the downside , the instructions are worthless as my husband politely put it. Reviews were correct as pieces missing but company is sending the piece after about 6 emails. Holes didn't line up and it took 3.5 hours to assemble. If instructions had been accurate it would have taken a lot less time. Other than the assembly this was worth our money and time. The finished product was exactly what we wanted.2nd reviewWe requested a tiny part that was missing. No problem at all! We received yesterday another 3 piece bistro set! That’s service! We were still able to assemble the first set without it and we were just going to keep the part in case we needed it later. We did not expect a total new set. Thank you Purple Leaf!!

Impossible to assemble!
Wish I took photos or videos. The QA process for this company is non-existent apparently. In order to think about assembling these chairs I had to bend washers that hold the nut inside the tube in place… but the nuts are set in deeper than the bolts so this was futile and literally the fasteners provided could not be utilized. The holes don’t line up; or there are other bolts that prevent the tubes of the legs from laying to be fastened correctly… these need to be removed from the site.Because of the poor quality on 4 chairs packaged in 2 shipments, it also make me question the validity of the other "positive" reviews.

love them but took me the entire day to put it together!
they are lovely, but it took me the entire day to put them together! I almost give up!, but I did it!The most difficult part is the first part of putting the seat and the back support together, after that it's get a little easier, just a little! ;)

The worst. Don’t do it!
The literal worst. The directions contradict themselves and make no sense. The top and bottom of the chairs don’t fit together. We are returning this set.

I would NOT recommend!!
The set isn’t awful for price, but you get what you pay for. It was almost impossible to assemble due to parts being warped and the pre-drilled holes misaligned. We had to be innovative about actually getting it put together. It seems okay for our needs, but the warped chair leg sits at a slight angle. It’s prob not the safest, but it’s too much to disassemble and return. I would NOT recommend!!

Most difficult chairs to put together!
The MOST difficult chairs to put together!!!! Pack your patience! You will need all your strength to reshape these chairs to make them fit. Some of the holes in the steel base did not align so we had to make adjustments. Pretty and sturdy once they were built- but I haven't built the table that came with it because I lost my patience at the second chair. Aaarrrrrrggggg!

Worth the money.
I love the look and sturdiness of this set. The chairs were not easy to put together, not all the holes aligned perfectly so I could have used another person to help pull the frame as I put in the screws. Also one of the chair backs arrived scuffed so maybe a little extra padding for shipping.
